They bring it to your table as an appetizer. So incredible the food the people the owners just good!!! it’s really unfortunate I’m not sure what is going on but I was told by the local fire department that the owner of the building not the restaurant was told that they needed to replace all kinds of fire suppression system which can range up in the tens of thousands of dollars and it is truly unfortunate that the owner of the building not the restaurant seems to be causing the issue with crowns kitchen now being closed due to a fire sprinkler system that needs to be upgraded and or replaced according to local fire chief which again could range anywhere from $20-$80,000 quite crazy because crowns kitchen survived 2019 2020 all the way up until today and then all the sudden this craziness happens. such a great restaurant I really hope that it reopens soon and get back to the great down home cooking that they are truly known for

Wow. This food is absolutely incredible!! This is my new favorite spot in Cincinnati. Our waitress Jerrica was so genuine and kind! The chef also sent out some greens to try and they were amazing. Order the fish and chips or rib tips and you'll leave full and happy.

So I keep hearing about this place and decided on lunch today. I ordered a BLT and a piece of pound cake. While waiting they offered me a nice size sample of greens cooked with turkey meat and well seasoned. They have a kick to them and were delicious!! When I got home to eat my BLT on buttered wheat toast I see they DO NOT hold back on the bacon!!! It was piled high!!! The only thing is I like my bacon a tad bit crispier which I'll let them know the next time!! It was very good and I'll be back to try more menu items!!

My Husband and I decided to give this establishment a try. We were so disappointed! We do our best not to give bad reviews however, I cannot allow this to happen to anyone else. We spent 40$ for two orders of wings, which was old chicken! You could smell and taste it was old with not even a pinch of the flavor we had ordered was on it, greens that were super salty. On top of that the onion rings, we had to place them in our toaster oven to get the consistency of a true onion ring. I cannot believe we gave a tip of 10$ dollars for a 40$ meal that we threw away after one bite of it all. So, needless to say, moving forward, we will never purchase anything from this establishment ever again. This was on 11/19/2022 late afternoon.Parking: Great parking
We kept hearing and reading about how good this place was so we stopped in. Upon arrival to look at the place, it's not much to see. Could use a little freshen up on the inside(momNpop kinda feel). The owner greeted us outside by the parking lot next to the grill. He asked if we ate Collard greens and offered us a sample once we got inside. When he brought out the sample we knew the rest of the food was going to be great. He knew it was our 1st time so he also brought out a sample of his ribs. OMG!!! I had never tasted ribs like that outside of my dad's barbecue. My husband doesnt even care for ribs and he said, I'm getting those next time. Hubs ordered the chicken alfredo pasta, it was very flavorful and seasoned. I had the ribs and ordered extras sides. MacNcheese and yams were good. But them Collard greens....Yesssss they are awesome with a lil kick to them. Also, they serve a side salad before your food comes out and it was even pretty good and helped with the wait to prepare the food. Definitely adding this place to the list of date night restaurants.

Crown's kitchens food is definitely worth the visit. This may be more of a to-go spot however. Went to dine in on my first visit and never had anyone come take orders for drinks or to bring us a menu. We had a young waitress that seemed to have just started as she was unfamiliar with what came on some of the platters. Ended up having to take our food to go because we weren't expecting things to take as long as they did. This place definitely has potential and once they figure out the service side of things they will definitely take off. Food came out fresh and everything was delicious! Definitely worth a visit, but may just call order in for takeout next time.

I will never eat from here again. I ordered The King's breakfast and salmon alfredo from here off door dash... There were styrofoam pieces in my eggs and pancakes, The salmon on top of my Alfredo was incredibly dry might as well have been rubber and when I tried to call to let them know of this no one picked up. That whole meal was unacceptable I just threw the whole thing away. Never again...that is all...Good day!!! ?

Wanted to check out another diner over here on the west side, this place heavily exceeded my expectations.Was met at the table with greens as soon as we got there. They were delicious, very well seasoned with a small hit of spice. As the waitress came out with our drinks, the head chef came out and said hello and brought us all some ribs to try.The food was really great and super reasonably priced. Anywhere you can get full for $15 is a good deal to me, plus it was genuinely delicious on top of it.As far as a quick greasy spoon goes, this is one of my new favorites. Friendly quick service, good food, and low price.
