Will is hands-down one of the best baristas I’ve ever encountered. From the moment you walk into Daylily, he greets you with genuine warmth and a smile that instantly makes your day better. His personable nature turns a simple coffee run into a meaningful experience—he remembers names, favorite drinks, and makes everyone feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. On top of that, his service is consistently incredible. He’s quick, attentive, and never sacrifices quality—whether it’s crafting a flawless latte or recommending a new favorite off the menu. Will brings heart and soul to his work, and it shows. Daylily is lucky to have him, and so are the customers. If you stop by, do yourself a favor and let Will take care of your order—you’ll leave with a great drink and an even better interaction.
Good coffee (drip), and It was served in a "real" cup. The service was quick, and very friendly. We had some lunches - they were delish.

Amazing spot to get your morning coffee and chill before getting your day going!
Came here to buy some quick snacks. There was line of 3-4 people who were ordering sandwiches, etc. I stood in this line for a minute or two before seeing a sign hanging over the counter a bit further down, “Grocery - Quick Check Out.”
I went to that register and waited at the counter. I was there about 3 minutes, during which time 2 staff members behind the counter (who appeared not to be busy doing much of anything) actually made eye contact with me a couple of times. One of these actually turned his back to me. I finally asked if I could be checked out. They said I had to go to the front register.
All in all it was fine that I had to go back to the other register—my world did not collapse. However, what I DID mind was that the confusion could have been cleared up so much more quickly: no (additional) sign indicated the “grocery quick check out” lane was closed (I would not have stood there for 3-4 minutes) AND the staff attempted to help me / direct me only after I finally directly asked them (even though they clearly had seen me standing at the counter. Maybe I’m new enough that I don’t know how things work in here. But what I experienced was poor customer service. Not friendly. Not helpful.

Daylily is the best. Frequent it all the time. Never had an issue. Chopped cheese and hearty bowl are both fantastic. Great food and they also have the essentials you’d need at home. Grateful it’s within walking distance. 10/10 recommend.
Ps never get rid of the juicy truth.

Very cute spot. Bodega type store with food, different, some (very expensive) toiletries. Our sandwiches were just okay, everything lacked some seasoning. However the place itself was cute with a great outdoor space. The drinks were good as well.

If everything looks good and you're trying to decide on something, go with the Italian Hero.
I had the Yardbird which was also really good but I took a bite of The Italian hero that my wife got, and that turned in to a few more bites.

Delicious sandwiches, but the service has been awful lately. Came in for lunch today & they were out of several menu items. It was not busy at all & it took 37 minutes to receive my sandwich. The staff was standing around talking & eating behind the counter…. They were unapologetic and seemed annoyed when I asked about the status of my order. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will be back.

Looking at our Cincy are "Hit List" and this one caught our eye for lunch on way home from Findlay Market.
Counter service with small market including produce.
Wife ordered the chopped cheese and I the Italian hero. The rolls for each was super fresh and amazing. The chopped beef was awesome and definitely the favorite and the Italian was close second being packed with deli meat and dressed just right.
Had great little selection of produce and picked up some fresh Shishito peppers!
Highly recommend!

You must try the Hearty Bowl! This is a completely delicious and wonderfully healthy vegan option. My new favorite—with or without dressing— highly recommend.

It took 33 min for one sandwich. While one can appreciate them being busy perhaps they should delegate a system to complete on line orders for pick up separate from people standing watching wanting to sit and other warm bodies wanting to get moving. We have chosen not to return. But that our choice until we learn things improve.

Across the street from Carnegie Center. Craft coffee that are truly unique. I had a Maple Leaf which is a Cortado with maple simple syrup and orange zest. The orange zest was a great surprise addition.

i have high expectations for the salazar group and this fell short. ordered the yardbird (warm chicken sandwich) and it was…nothing special. it was fine but the cheese wasn’t melted, the roll was uninteresting, and was in need of a “twist” (cheese other than swiss, flavored aioli, better bread) to elevate the experience and be worth $10. for a better sandwich go to carl’s deli or allez cafe.

Don’t go here if you’re in a hurry.
Ordered 2 sandwiches and it wasn’t very busy. Stood around waiting with a group of people, everyone’s food was very slow coming out. I noticed people that ordered after me were getting their food and I kept waiting. I asked where my food was and it turns out they messed up and it had been ready but they made some kind of error. I got my 2 sandwiches just over 30 minutes after ordering.
I ordered the Ruben with the dressing on the side and they messed that up. Not only was there dressing on it, it was absolutely drowning in dressing (see photo). To me that’s an inedible sandwich, just gross.
I tried calling, but the phone just rang and no one answered. All I really want is my gratuity refunded.
First impressions are everything and this place really dropped the ball.
They have Raid and spaghetti-Os for sale if that’s your thing.
