i have high expectations for the salazar group and this fell short. ordered the yardbird (warm chicken sandwich) and it was…nothing special. it was fine but the cheese wasn’t melted, the roll was uninteresting, and was in need of a “twist” (cheese other than swiss, flavored aioli, better bread) to elevate the experience and be worth $10. for a better sandwich go to carl’s deli or allez cafe.

Don’t go here if you’re in a hurry.Ordered 2 sandwiches and it wasn’t very busy. Stood around waiting with a group of people, everyone’s food was very slow coming out. I noticed people that ordered after me were getting their food and I kept waiting. I asked where my food was and it turns out they messed up and it had been ready but they made some kind of error. I got my 2 sandwiches just over 30 minutes after ordering.I ordered the Ruben with the dressing on the side and they messed that up. Not only was there dressing on it, it was absolutely drowning in dressing (see photo). To me that’s an inedible sandwich, just gross.I tried calling, but the phone just rang and no one answered. All I really want is my gratuity refunded.First impressions are everything and this place really dropped the ball. They have Raid and spaghetti-Os for sale if that’s your thing.

An adorable neighborhood gem of a coffee and lunch spot! Their iced tea is perfectly brewed. You can add chicken to vegetarian sandwiches!Highly recommend

It’s odd to hear the employees openly talk about your order and how ‘strange’ it is. I got an untoasted bagel with cream cheese for my 2 year old and I to share for take out. He doesn’t like crispy bread as much as plain bread - next time I’ll explain to the employee...

I bought a small chocolate chip cookie that cost over 3.00!! I didn't want to make a scene so I purchased it. If it was an amazing cookie I could have been happy... but I could have bought a few more at Kroger's for the same price and been just as happy.

After my neighbor recommended it I went here almost everyday for lunch for several weeks. (The bread and soups are so fresh and everything is tasty.). But I stopped going because whether it was busy or slow, or I ordered online or in-person, getting food always took FOREVER. One example (and this is one out of several) occurred a few months ago. I called to ask about the soup of the day. The person at the register answered the phone, set it on the counter and I heard her take 10 people’s orders before I decided to stay on hold and drive over. By the time I arrived I was still on hold. I got in line, walked up and asked why I was still on hold. The person blushed as it was clear they just didn’t want to answer the phone and thought I hung up. (It wasn’t because they forgot.)However, I decided to try again one more time. I went after lunch and before dinner and was the only customer with 5 employees working. It took 35 minutes to pour the soup that was already made and make a small salad to-go. The staff danced to music, sung along and talked amongst each other. I am all for fun at work, and the energy definitely adds to the vibe here, but when a customer is hungry, in a rush or just waiting there for a while please consider speeding things up.I would start going back more often and it be 5 stars if service was slightly faster. Also, while the prices are high (noted by several others here) I don’t mind because unfortunately the cost of everything is high these days. But they will continue to lose regular customers if the pace of service doesn’t change.Parking: It is usually busy but easy to find street parking close by.

Cute little deli in the Columbia Tusculum area. Came for a Sunday afternoon snack with a friend. Tried the grilled cheese sandwich and an Egg Cream Coffee Soda since that's one of their signature drinks that's different. The grilled cheese was open gooey and satisfying. The drink was interesting and I'm glad I tried it. I do want to come back to try more of the food and lattes. They also have a small convenience store inside to get some local eats and farm fresh feels. Looking forward to my next visit.

This is such a nice cozy atmosphere. The vibe is very chill and lounge like. It's a mini grocery store, restaurant, and study place all in one. Definitely worth the stop. They even have wine!

The Honey Bear coffee is super delicious. I also loved the YeardBird sandwich. The ingredients were fresh and really good serving - totally worth the price. The highlight for me is the backyard with nice trees and relaxed atmosphere. They have great wi-fi so it is a good spot to work. Love it!

Need more and better vegetarian options. Grilled cheese or salad doesn't cut it. The broccoli rabe sandwich was awful. It isn't broccoli but is instead a different vegetable, very bitter, certainly an acquired taste, and quite the unpleasant surprise if you are expecting it to taste like broccoli.
