Overpriced, Atrocious Food, and Incredibly Slow Service
I wish I had a better experience to report, but our recent visit to Don Rigo in Anderson was a complete disappointment from start to finish. I will not be going back, and I feel compelled to share why.
The most glaring issue was the service. It was painfully slow. What made it so frustrating was that the restaurant wasn't even packed. We waited an unreasonable amount of time for everything, and it felt like we were completely forgotten.
When the food finally arrived, it was nothing short of atrocious. For example, we ordered the steak sandwich, which was a wet, smashed-together mess. It was unappetizing to look at and even worse to eat. The lack of care in its preparation was obvious and frankly, unacceptable for any restaurant.
To add insult to injury, the prices are way too high for the poor quality of food and service you receive. I left feeling completely ripped off and deeply disappointed. Save your money and your time and go elsewhere. We will certainly not be making a return visit.

if only the food wasn't so expensive or you got bigger portions. food was great! not my favorite salsa but still very yummy. but for the price and portion size they give it's not worth the money. all of our meals were 15.99+ and no one took home any leftovers which generally we all can at other Mexican restaurants we have visited
