We decided to dine at E&O for my birthday dinner this year. E&O has always been one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The waitress we had was phenomenal and took amazing care of us. The food was outstanding as it always is. My friends and dad were incredibly impressed at the quality of the food as well. The ambiance was also lively without feeling too overwhelming or too noisy that we couldn't hear one another. I will absolutely choose E&O in the future for nicer dinners like this but also just to enjoy day to day.

Server was great and took good care of us as a big party. Food was excellent and love the creative options they have. Except the brunch Buddha bowl had no flavor. I felt like they forgot to put in spices or sauce or something because it was just plain. The chicken in the Buddha bowl was also unseasoned, a little tasteless. Everything else tasted excellent

Had Brunch on Easter. The Brunch menu had a good selection. Each of our dishes were prepared correctly and had good taste. Server was friendly and available.

Love this place! I had the steak fried rice a few months ago while on vaca—soooo good—no other restaurant since then has matched the quality! When we drove thru Cinci on another vaca, we had to stop at this place so I could order it again! Our adult son also ordered it & we both loved it! My wife had the Grippy wagu burger—outstanding! Recommend highly!

We had a table of ten. The service was great and so was the food. The sushi is amazing. Especially number 4

Damar was attentive, nice & professional. Sushi rolls and pot stickers were good. A few more pot stickers would have been better. Margaritas were weak with a lot of ice.

We made a reservation through E&O's website link to Open Table, only to arrive to a restaurant that was closed on Tuesdays.

Let me start by saying my family has been in the restaurant business for 50+ years. I understand how hard it is. I understand the need to turn tables. We came in tonight for the first time. We ordered drinks. We ordered appetizers. When we were almost done with them we ordered dinner. We told our server we were in no hurry but we never delayed on ordering anything. AT NO POINT FROM RESERVATION TO THIS POINT DID ANYONE TELL US WE HAD A TIME LIMIT ON THE TABLE. Throughout each course, the server was not overly attentive. She was not bad, she just didn't come by very often. We ordered drinks and I would watch them sit at the bar for almost 10 minutes. After dinner was over, she asked us if we needed anything else. Me not knowing we had a time limit, asked what they had for dessert and ordered a martini. She came over with the menu and we ordered a dessert. She brought the dessert to the table, informed us we had hit our time limit for the table and dropped off the check. We ate the dessert and she still had not brought out drinks back from the bar. When she finally brought them to the table, I said before I accepted the drink, can we drink them or do we need to get up. She said you can drink them but don't take forever you need to hurry. She was obviously afraid to come back to the table and just left the check there. So we drank our drinks. The manager comes over and was like you guys have to go. The check is sitting in front of me with the credit card sitting in it and no one had taken it. He is loudly saying we have to go but his server never came to run the credit card. How do we leave? He didn't even try to talk to us. He came over like we were being difficult about leaving. Not once did we drag this out or purposefully sit there and not let them turn the table. It was a normal progression of dinner. We ordered $400 worth of stuff for 4 of us. We paid and ordered a good amount. No one else around us were told to leave. Why did they not tell us from the start? Why did the manger and server not handle this differently. They could have been really nice about it and/or told us at the beginning so we knew. The food was very good. We would have been back but unfortunately this is a one and done. I refuse to let myself go back there.

I came in to dine the other day and sat at the bar. Kaden greeted me and got me started , Zoe served me the rest of the time. Everything was incredible, food atmosphere, and definitely the service! Kaden and Zoe are phenomenal, E+O is lucky to have them

I ordered takeout. As someone who grew up with Japanese food, I was expecting some healthy and tasty food. But was pretty disappointed.

The Dragons Breath, on the menu, it says it's made shrimp tempura etc, but there was no shrimp tempura at all, which made me so confused, and it tastes too sweet (too much sauce maybe?), and not tasty.

The soba noodle salad was very oily, after eating, there was a thick layer of oil left on the bottom of the container. It is supposed to be a healthier appetizer/side, but after eating something so oily, I lost my appetite and felt sick.

The sticky rib was full of sauce, which was also very salty, I had to use water to rinse it before eating. It's tender, but so salty that I had to throw it away.

I also ordered an over-hard egg on the side, which came with over easy liquid yoke...

But apart from being unhealthy and not tasty, the location is good. The packing is good too.

Great sushi!

I came here for a lunch around 1:30pm on a Saturday. There weren't any events happening nearby (to my knowledge) so the place was about half full at the tables and empty at the bar. The sound levels with good. No one having to yell over each other or the music. The music is upbeat pop.

Drink:
Lemon Kind - it was heavy on the coconut water. I almost couldn't taste any lemon until I squeezed in the slice it came with. Definitely could not taste the pineapple. Probably would not order again

Food:
Many of their rolls are made with shrimp tempura which I try to avoid these days. Thankfully they had no problem swapping out the shrimp for raw salmon, and without an upcharge! The only roll they said they could not do a substitution was the Closer because they remake those since it is a deep fried roll.

Dragons Breath - I really liked this roll. My favorite part of sushi is the different textures and this roll plays into that. The inside, with my substitution, is soft and creamy, whereas the outside is crunchy from the shallots. The roll is served on top of a sweet sauce, but still good dipped into soy sauce.

Side of asparagus - I opted for a side because 2 rolls would have been too much food, the sashimi plates have had mixed reviews, and the nigiri seemed pricey if it was only going to be the typical 2 pieces. There were 7 spears on the plate. Not reedy. Salty and smoky. Great side!

Next time: I'll try another drink and sushi roll.

I have eaten here multiple times and it has been pleasant every time. The black bean burger along with the Guac app are my go-to dishes as they are extremely high quality and tasty. The service has been exceptional every time I go. The people I have gone with have generally gotten one of the sushi rolls (The lemon drop and the hey vinny seem to be popular picks) and they usually say it is one of the best sushi rolls they have ever had. The lychee marg and the seaside marg are both very good and the restaurant seems to be very consistent in the quality of service and quality of food they offer. On weekend nights, there tends to be a DJ there that plays great music. I like house music and they play chill house a lot of time, which is very appropriate for the contemporary space and atmosphere.

Vegetarian options: There are a few vegetarian options like the Black Bean Burger, Guacamole, and Edamame, all very tasty and high quality

I ordered lobster fried rice with white wine. The fried rice was okay, but the white wine was terrible. The service was even worse. Sitting at the bar, the waiter never came over to confirm how the meal was, and even dared to set a 25% tip as default when checking out. With such bad service, who would give her 25%.

I do not usually write bad reviews. I really wanted to like this restaurant. However, while the food was initially very tasty, the experience left much to be desired. Towards the end of our meal we saw a roach and a mouse! After being made aware, staff promptly picked up the roach in a napkin, but walked back toward the kitchen to dispose if it! Within 10 minutes, under the empty table behind us, we saw a mouse! The staff worked diligently to corner and "collect" the mouse. We had an out of town guest with us and this was VERY embarrassing! Upon exiting, management spoke with one of our party to explain that the front door of the restaurant stays open, they are downtown on the banks, they are right next to a parking garage, therefore, all of this could happen at any given time. We were not asked to return. No one in management apologized for our experience. All in all, the servers were pleasantly kind, efficient, and helpful, but I will never return and I would strongly discourage anyone else to visit as well.

The food and drinks were good. The music was absolutely blaring, making it impossible to have dinner conversation with family. We all left on edge , for what should have been a nice family meal. Very disappointed.
