This restaurant is closed. OpenTable should not be allowing reservations. And E&O should show some responsibility. Needless to say, we had to find a last-minute place to eat dinner in order to get to the theater on time and ended up with fast food.

My husband and I showed up for our reservation Saturday night, walked up to the restaurant and it said temporarily closed. We were completely shocked. However, it then clicked why no one was answering the phone when we were trying to be courteous to the staff and other reservations about running a few minutes behind. My husband and I made these reservations in December for my birthday before going to see a show at the Arnoff. We are absolutely disgusted that no one would call or email to let us know the restaurant was closed. What the heck? Who does that to customers? Especially when there is a Broadway show in town! With it being a Saturday night with a Broadway right across the street, we were unable to get a seat anywhere and had to wait until 10:45, after the show and after the dinner rush, to eat dinner. I will also add we had both worked all day and skipped lunch so we were very much looking forward to dining at OKTO and having a meal. There was nothing on Google or your social media that mentioned they were closed and Open table is still allowing reservations to come through. Last, this isn't the he first time something like this has occurred at your restaurant to us. Last November we came in before going to another show. We sat at our table for a good 30 minutes before the SA finally caught on our server had never been over. What we had hoped to be a nice date night of enjoying dinner and drinks turned into shoving our food down our throats so we would make our show and got there right after it started. We were hoping this time our experience would be better, but ended up just putting a complete dent in our evening.

We had made reservations a month in advance and confirmed when we received Open Table's notice. We showed up prior to an Aronoff performance and a sign on the door said they were temporarily closed! We couldn't find another restaurant close, so ate at the bar at Prime. Any type of notice should have been provided to customers with reservations.

There was a sign on the door saying the restaurant was closed. No one ever called to let us know. We had reservations before seeing a show so this was disappointing. Will not be returning to this restaurant.

I was really looking forward to dinner but unfortunately when we arrived there was a handwritten sign on door stating restaurant was temporarily closed. I received a reminder alert to confirm reservation but nothing to notify me to make alternate dinner plans because of closure. We had tickets to Aronoff show.

Service is great. Food was lackluster. Cocktails were delicious on par with pricing, but I just have to say that the meals were underwhelming our party of seven had a good cross-section of most of the items on the menu.

This was our first visit to OKTO and we were pleasantly surprised. We started with two octopus starters - her's cooked, mine carpaccio. Both were superb, both is taste and plating. We would return just for those two dishes. Our main dishes were an eggplant dish that my partner loved and a large serving of perfectly cooked tuna for me. Service was excellent. The wine list is limited but adequate for everyday dining with pricing that is about average these days.

Our server Heather asked if we were going to the theatre, and helped us get through in time. Hummus was best I've tasted. My husband loved the vegan mousaka, and I had the chicken Okto bowl with couscous. Portions weren't that large for the price, but perfectly seasoned & tasty! We'll be back to try some fish or a gyro.

We enjoyed the lively atmosphere and modern decor. Service including host, main server, and. Other servers was very good. Friendly people knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food and beverage. Menu had interesting and different dishes; Greek fine dining is fun and tasty.

OKTO was a really convenient dinner spot to get something to eat before catching a show at the Aronoff. While the service was very nice, the food and ambience didn't quite match up to the price. I'd be open to giving it one more shot and trying something else on the menu.

Food is flavorful and well prepared. Service is always wonderful. Ambiance on the main floor adds to the dining experience. Pricey for what you receive, but E&O usually makes up for it in the overall experience.

Great apps, awesome service. Entrees were below average and not very good. Drinks were overpriced. A neat inexpensive bourbon such as 4 roses should not be $14 for such a small pour.

Service was a little slow when we first sat down, but it seemed to be due to shift change or something along those lines. As a former food and beverage industry worker, I absolutely will not hold that against them - I understand! Once our server, Erin, was notified of our arrival, she was prompt and pleasant, always making sure we had everything we needed! The food... OHHH, the FOOD. 13/10!!! We got the Flaming Saganaki and Grilled Octopus for appetizers. Listen, I don't care if you're sticking to a strict diet, you MUST make an exception for the flaming cheese! The octopus was everything I have been craving for months - it was tender, slight crisp on the outside from being grilled, and it paired perfectly with the thinly slice onions. I could've eaten five more plates if the octopus alone! For entrees, my partner got the OKTO Burger and said it was exceptional. It did not come with cheese, but instead, some type of whipped tzatziki which was outstanding! I got the Fish Of The Day, which was Whole Grilled Branzino, atop a bed of Swiss chard and couscous. The Branzino was perfectly cooked, and delicious on its own... but when you took a bite of the fish, and the Swiss chard, and the couscous together? The flavor explosion was out of this world (and I'm not normally a Swiss chard fan). And for dessert, we actually didn't get the baklava, even though a few tables around us were enjoying it. We opted with the Greek Apple Pie... I don't think it's listed on the menu, but Erin suggested it and it was the right move. The crust was flaky, apples still maintained a little crunch... *Chef's kiss* Honestly, it was one of the best meals I've had in Cincinnati, to date. And I will recommend them over and over again. They haven't seen the last of us!

The attention to detail on each plate was amazing. The octopus carpaccio was something I've never experience anywhere. It had beautifully marinated octopus, accompanied by an artful assortment of olives, onions, tomato, capers, and sauce. The ability to feature the chicken as much as the lamb in the souvlaki mixed grill is notable. The cocktails were beautiful and tasty. In particular, The Thoughtful Paloma had a great mix of fruit and spice alongside tequila. It is great theatre to have flaming saganaki served tableside, and this is something rare to find in Cincinnati. We enjoyed our evening and will be back!

Second time eating here, and this was also a great experience. We tried different dishes and enjoyed what we had. Ate on the early side before a show before it started getting busy so very quiet during our dinner. Looking forward to eating here again.
