Ordered a glass of wine-it “wasn't chilled yet”, so ordered a different one that was ready. Then ordered an appy of green beans- took almost 1/2 hour to receive. Caesar salad was dripping with dressing- The filet trio (with shrimp & andouille) was just ok-the steak was chewy & shrimp overcooked, so very tough, too. The French dip sliders were good!! Kinda disappointing for this type of restaurant. Our server was good.

We are in the bar off of the bar menu for our anniversary. They gave us a piece of carrot cake for a present. We each had a glass of house wine. They cook to order, so if you are in a hurry this is not your place. Otherwise, the food is great and you can't beat the price. Emily was an awesome waitress

1st rate in every respect. We were looking for seafood (I know, it's a steakhouse) and found several excellent choices — black cod, ahi tuna, Chilean sea bass, & jumbo shrimp cocktail — all beautifully prepared, fresh, and tasty. Excellent wine selection, too. Our waiter was cordial, efficient, and there when needed, but never obtrusive. Yes, it's pricey, but for a special occasion Eddie Merlot's is highly recommended by our family.

I had good service during my visit — my server was polite and attentive, and the food itself was fine. However, I was very disappointed with how the bill was handled. My first check showed a total of $31.95 (with the automatic gratuity already included because of our party size). After that, my card was run for $54.88 on a completely different check, with a higher subtotal and an extra gratuity added.
The biggest issue for me is that this was never explained to me before the charge was made. If there were additional fees or adjustments because of our group size, that should have been communicated clearly upfront. Instead, I left feeling overcharged and confused even though the service itself was good. Transparency on billing would have made all the difference. I tried to ask somebody about it but they just kept saying the party size it’s additional but they added extra charges . Just would love to get my money back for the overcharge . I only got oysters !?
