El Rancho Grande Montgomery

This restaurant has the most obnoxious birthday celebration I’ve ever witnessed. Terrible sirens, loud music, and it just went on and on. The waiter took our drink order and didn’t come back for about 15 minutes. Then we had to flag down another waiter to get a box and our checks. Just a horrible dining experience. Food was good!

The lunch deal is ridiculously good. Birria quesadilla was incredible. Good service, clean, easy.

Edit: I had to take a couple stars off… we came here on a Sunday and while the service was ok, it was so incredibly slow. I brought my family and handicapped father here expecting quick and easy, and of course it was slow and difficult.

Always a fun place for dinner, everyone is very nice and they have the best salsa! My wife and I crave their salsa!

A great place for a variety of Tex Mex dishes. The food portions are on the larger side and very good, Makes for a great lunch out with friends or coworkers.

The King Burrito is a favorite of mine, combines a good amount and sweet with spicy.

I just have to give a ding for service, several of the serving staff will walk past your table and not offer refills of drinks nor chips for chips and salsa. Frequently I and my party have had to ask for refills, which isn't a huge inconvenience, but for a sit-down place I'm used to there being a little more attention given. No staff were dismissive or rude, so it wasn't a negative experience, just an area I think could be focused on.

This branch of El Rancho Grande is our favorite Mexican Restaurant and go-to place for our weekly date-night dinners. The food is plentiful and delicious, the margaritas also quite good, and the waitstaff and management are now like our extended family in the best sense... We especially love the enchiladas, the chicken dishes, the street tacos, and the burritos, and the extensive menu of pork, beef, and fish entrees are also fun to order from.

I met a friend for dinner with my sister. It was okay. Service was okay. I asked for a sweet tea to drink, it was not what I was use to. Not sure if I would go back to this location.
