It was my girlfriend and I's first time coming to Embers and it was alright. I really liked the atmosphere and the server we had was great. I was a little disappointed in the food though. We got two sushi rolls, the Kobe Roll and the Haiwaiian Roll. The sushi was pretty good, especially the Kobe roll. I enjoyed the savory and spicyness of the roll and it had a great fresh crunch with the jalapeños, but our entrees did not impress us. My girlfriend ordered the Pan Seared Filet Mignon with Gnocchi and the gnocchi was just fine as well as the steak was OK. I had ordered the Roasted Amish Chicken Breast and the chicken was great! It was super moist and crisp on the top, but the Risotto that came with was bland. I will say it was a decent meal but for the price I expected more. If you are looking for a great place to celebrate an occasion, I might recommend somewhere else for the price.

Top 5 best restaurants in cincinnati for me. and i've dined at them all multiple, multiple times, Sweetie. their cocktails are always at level 100, wine glass pours are ~$10-$14/glass and they're fantastic. the sushi, sashimi, tempura shrimp, and steak are all i ever order and they hit perfectly 👏 every 👏 single 👏 time! Got wings to go they where so dry they where almost inedible like jerky or something it was terrible wouldn’t recommend this place ever idk if I just got a couple of bad batches or was given old wings but it was the worst wings I’ve ever ate

I’ve always had good food and service at this restaurant. Half price sushi night at the bar on Wednesday is very popular. The bar would be a lot more fun if it weren’t for the rude and obnoxious customers. I had one customer assume I was hitting on him saying “Well, I’m not!” when I mentioned in passing in conversation that I was LBGT. I had another guy intentionally run into me while holding a drink when I was standing against a wall waiting for a vacant seat. I saw him looking intently at me before from his table, and the vibe wasn’t good. But, hey! What can you say? It’s Cincinnati.
