The food was good. Service was good. My only problem is that a mistake was made were I was charged with my friends food for $134 when my bill was $28.03. The waitress and manager fixed the mistake but there was never a simple "sorry" or "we apologize".Still a good place to eat.

Took my son for his birthday- we had been going to Carlo and Johnny's every year but decided to go to Embers due to timing/location this year. He said his strip was the best steak he's ever had and is already talking about going back. I had an excellent Filet Oscar. Lots of good options on dessert list.

The food was good, especially the soup of the day. We did not care for the crab salad because it was mostly avocado so that was definitely a big disappointment. We did not complain, but we really should not have paid for it. The waitress was very nice. And while the Dover soul was good, it wasn't one of the best we've ever had. But on the other hand, the green beans almandine were delicious.
Embers has been a date night staple since I met my wife 15 years ago. While, like my age, the prices have risen, the atmosphere, service, and amazing food have always been there. I highly recommend Embers if you are in the area. You won’t regret it. If Embers doesn’t have any reservations try Trio down the street. Same owners and just as good.

The New York strip steak was outstanding. The lobster tail for $33 was an excellent . The server was very professional and had the right amount of checking back to see to make us feel comfortable.

Reservation for 2 on Valentines Day. We were seated at a table for four. It was so nice not to be just inches away from a neighboring table/couple. It seemed that arrangement wasn't exclusive to our dining experience, as other couples seemed to have the similar table arrangement. Very nice experience on a busy restaurant evening. Wait staff was excellent. Food was terrific.

Never had a bad experience at Embers until last night. To be fair, this was the day before Valentines Day, so prolly not the best timing for fine dining. Here it goes... The meal was rushed out to us, salad interrupting bread, entree interrupting salad, you get the picture. My filet was not bad, just decent. It was closer to what you'd get at Texas Roadhouse on a good night there, rather than approaching what you get from Ruby's or Tony's. Maybe that's a high bar, but when it's closer to that price point (a la carte BTW) that's the scale you get put on. So I had to separately order a side: potatoes au gratin (with Boursin cheese). I suppose I should have known better as that combo didn't really work. Sometimes two good things don't combine very well as it was way too rich to be enjoyable. And the potatoes themselves weren't cooked nearly enough. IMO I should be able to cut through the potato slices easily with the edge of a spoon or fork. But I had to use my steak knife to cut through the tough texture of the spuds (how does that happen to a potato?). On the flip side my salad was tasty and the butterscotch pudding desert was delicious. Overall, somewhat disappointing---again, because we've always had such good meals there. Hopefully this was an outlier and not a trend. I would still go back there again to see if that's the case.

Everything was great until I had a pitcher of water spilled on me by our server. I know it was a accident but felt like something should have been offered other than worrying about towels to wipe up the floor. The manager did come over but said very little and again was more worried about towels and the floor. My coat was wet and my clothes and my husband got it too. Too bad a dessert or drink or something for getting cold water spilled all over you....
