I have never eaten here before but was excited to try it so I ordered a sandwich for delivery. I got the steak sandwich and a cookie.This sandwich was absolutely delightful!! I have not had a sandwich this damn good in a long time. The bread was perfectly cooked, crunchy and soft! The flavors were incredible and didn’t feel like anything over powered anything else. It was kinda messy to eat which means you know it’s full of good stuff.I genuinely don’t know if I can even eat a sandwich at penny station or jersey mikes ever again…(Also the cookie was good af)

Best and most unique lunch menu in Cincinnati. Menu changes quite a bit and they use local farms to build their menu so things are very fresh. My latest favorite is the chicken salad, but i also love the clams pasta when they have it as well as the salad options and soups.

Great atmosphere, knowledgable and dynamic staff. If you're looking for beautiful and fresh, locally sourced, and in season food and vegetables, this is the place to go! My favorite go to restaurant in Cincinnati. Love what the Ferrari Bros. and their team have done for this city.

Our party of four arrived and placed our order at the counter. Less than half of the tables were occupied. After a long wait and several later arrival being served we inquired and apparently there was confusion in the kitchen. We received our food 56 minutes after arriving and placing orders (used Google timeline to verify the time we entered the restaurant). Portions were small and preparations were uninspiring.

Stopped in for lunch on a Friday and Fausto will definitely be a regular lunch spot for me now. Nice ambiance, airy and light with plenty of seating. Located right inside the CAC. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Staff were very friendly, I was considering a tea and they offered a sample! Split the Grilled Lion's Mane Mushroom sandwich and Fischer Farms Pork Tonkatsu sandwich with a friend. Both were to die for, best sandwiches I've had. It's clear they use high quality ingredients and base the menu on what's in season and fresh. I'd take out of town guests here for lunch and to peruse the museum. Highly recommend.

My husband and I planned a small (30 people) impromptu wedding in about 1 month. Following the ceremony, we had a 5-course dinner celebration with wine pairings at Fausto. We could not be happier with how the dinner went! First, Tony and Austin were the best to work with – they were easygoing and professional from the start and their communication throughout the planning process was fantastic. They allowed us to bring in our own table decor and printables - which they setup for us, however they did offer the option to take care of decor/printables for us. The night was exactly what we envisioned. We had a blast and everything from the setup to intimate setting, service, presentation, and meal was absolutely delightful. The food was ah-mazing and the wine pairings were perfect. Tony, Austin, and the rest of the Fausto staff made us and our guests feel welcome. You can tell they really love what they do. 10/10!

Beautiful cafe at the entrance of Contemporary Art Center. Friendly staffs and good service. I had buckwheat grain salad, so gorgeous, also healthy and tasty, with a good balance of flavor and texture. The cafe gets full quickly at lunch time so go a little early if you want to avoid the crowd.

Terrific family, terrific food, terrific hospitality. So sorry to hear of Fausto's passing. The article I wrote profiling him and his barbershop in the 80s was one of my favorite ever. He was a joy to talk to. His work ethic was astounding to me as a 22--year-old reporter out of college. At almost 60 now, I've never forgotten my conversation with Fausto. Try the Fausto brothers' restaurants! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great spot for lunch, featuring exquisite healthy options in the heart of downtown Cincinnati ! Very friendly staff and great open environment inside of CAC. The sandwiches are quite large and are worth the value.
Ordered the smoked & charred beet salad with chicken and was not disappointed! It's a smokey umami bomb, with nutty flavours interplaying with the smokey-ness of the beets and a plethora of textures experienced with each bite. I would recommend trying this even as is (sans protein). My sincere compliments to the chef ❤️

Don’t like at all the food. Very greasy, salty and sandwiches were soaked in butter. The service is terrible and they make you pay in advance even with tip. Then you can’t complained about the food or get your money back. You have to stand up to order, to pay, even to get your own utensils. Not a good experience at all. Will never come back to this restaurant.

I had heard some good things about this little restaurant/cafe inside the Contemporary Art Center, so I checked it out with some coworkers for lunch. Everyone enjoyed their food, and I ordered the Reuben Sandwich. It was HUGE! And a little difficult to eat and covered in a lot of butter. Taste-wise it was good though and I took half the sandwich home and ate it later, so the leftovers weren't bad. I'm interested in going back and trying some of their other options.

After reading various reports of the excellent food to be found at Fausto my wife and I decided to drop by. What was a simple lunch turned out to be one of the best meals in memory. We shared a chicken salad sandwich, gazpacho, green beans and roasted potatoes. Every bite of each dish was perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. We are certain to return to sample more of the menu. Chef Phil Gentry is an all star!
