I waited longer to order than it took to get my food. Fish and chips was super whack. I would have been way better off getting some Long John silver. The breading was bland and gooey inside. Fries were alright but considering the price of the plate I'd expect some good seasoning on the fries.

This past experience was our second attempt at the Firehouse. Two words, BIG MISTAKE!! It took almost 15 minutes after being seated to even get noticed. When the server finally did take our drink order, we decided to order an appetizer in anticipation of the service getting no better. Unfortunately, we were correct. 45 minutes later, we were presented with our appetizers but our server had evidently failed to realize we existed. After finishing another 20 minutes passed and we ordered our main course. Mind you, we had still only received the initial round of drinks and the appetizer at this time and had been seated for almost an hour and a half. Somewhere during this period we received a second round of drinks which was good because our entrees didn’t show for almost another 45 minutes. Well, my family received theirs. The salad they brought out wasn’t correct and the young man said he’d take care of it. Never came back with anything. No explanation, no food, no server to follow up. She finally showed up with no explanation and said it would be taken off the bill. It should have been,..I DIDN’T RECEIVE IT!!! After we received the check, my mouth fell open! NEVER AGAIN!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Good food, good service. For an appetizer, I had the Buffalo Chicken Rolls. I'm not typically a Buffalo flavor kind of girl, but these were delicious, not too much Buffalo flavor. For my entree, I had the Southern Fried Chicken Salad with the Chipotle Ranch. It was delicious! My only complaint is that in most of these types of restaurants, the amount of dressing that comes with the salad is never enough, and then they want to charge you for more. I'd love to see the one that determined the amount of dressing that comes with this size salad eat a salad with the little amount offered. In the picture, you'll see two small dressing cups. Only one comes with the salad. Other than that, everything was good. I'd recommend this place.

Saturday night on the patio with live music by David Thornton. Very talented. Service was excellent. A vast improvement since last year. They have an expanded menu which had many new choices and we loved the pizza, fish and chips and the pasta dish. The patio with the lake beside it is a perfect dinner out with music on a nice summer’s night
