“We celebrated my birthday at Colette recently. It's our first time there. We made reservations and were seated quickly. Our server is very knowledgeable of the menu and made great recommendations. We enjoyed everything we ordered especially the laminated brioche, brandade de moure(whip salt cod), lamb neck cavatelli ragu, and mushroom tahini. The desert chocolate mousse and millie feuille are amazing!!“

“Great experience! The food and service were exceptional. Our waitress was cheerful, friendly, enthusiastic, and incredibly knowledgeable. At one point, we unknowingly waited a bit too long for our first round of drinks. The section manager noticed, appeared with them personally, and graciously offered to comp them, apologizing for the delay. Again, we didn't even realize we waited a bit too long for our drinks. A thoughtful and professional touch!“

“Our meal was delicious. The service was excellent! We highly recommend La Bar a Boeuf! I had the crab cake appetizer and it was very good-2 large crab cakes. My husband had the escargot-very good. I had duck for the entrée. Again, I recommend this dish. My husband had the soft shell crab??. We were too full to have desert!“

“Food was wonderful! Decor and ambience are also super cute; it feels very French with all the vintage posters and brightly painted walls. It was definitely LOUD, especially for a Tuesday night, but overall a really nice spot tucked away in mt Adams. I’m looking forward to trying out the patio and more things off the menu next time!“

“My recent brunch at French Crust was largely enjoyable. My husband's omelet with the soup du jour was lovely. However, I was disappointed not to have been informed about an omelet du jour, as I likely would have chosen that. My croissant sandwich with a fried egg fell short; the egg wasn't cooked to my request of over hard, and the bacon was overcooked. Despite these minor issues, I'd still return to French Crust. Next time, I'll either try a different dish or be very specific with my order, and I'll be sure to inquire about the daily specials“
