Kir Royal & chocolate mousse were yummy. Goat quiche lacked flavor & bacon was super fatty. Server wasn't attentive.
Had a lovely lunch to celebrate my friend's birthday. The goat quiche and French onion soup were perfection. My friend had the tuna nicoise and said it was delicious. We finished with a silky crème brûlée. The staff is always pleasant and friendly but never intrusive. The atmosphere is pure French cafe. I love this place!
i had a reservation and there were several tables open and hostess tried to sit us at a high top which i declined .The table clothes are nice and sever was very good .
The food and service were excellent. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and delicious. The service was responsive and helpful. All-in-all, it was a wonderful dining experience!
From the greeter at the front door to the wait staff, everyone was very friendly, personable, and helpful. And the food! Ooh la la! It was absolutely scrumptious. Every was prepared perfectly and the presentation was ... well, perfect. We had a fabulous time!
I had the tuna Niçoise salad and the tuna was divine. Our neighboring diner slyly paid for our lunch and it was so sweet.
Such a fun place for breakfast, brunch or lunch! High quality ingredients, creative menu options, good prices and value. Wish they had a couple more gluten free options but that is tricky at an authentically French bistro!
Excellent brunch spot - our quiches were amazing. Service was okay...they were busy and bustling but it almost felt like we were just a number they were pushing through to get to the next set of diners. Pleasant staff, just not a great tone for a leisurely Sunday brunch.
We waited forever before someone finally brought water. Then waited again for our waiter to finally show up. We ordered as soon as we could then waited even longer for our food. My wife is lactose intolerant and asked that they leave the cheese and cream off her eggs Benedict. It came with no bread because the bread has cheese in it. If she had known that she would have ordered something else. My croque madame was ok.

My friend and I were shopping at Findlay Market on a Wednesday in early October and popped in to see what they were serving for their Lunch Tray Special. I only knew about these lunches from following them on social media. Each week they serve a different lunch Weds.-Fri. at the bar for $19. It's enough food that we both took a bit home. The ambiance is bright, and you can't miss seeing all the of the salt and pepper shakers in the display case - what a hoot!
We had chicken breast over rich mashed potatoes, a yummy quinoa salad, homeade tomato soup, and a frozen strawberry puff pastry item. Everything was delicious (although the dessert was a bit odd), and for the price, it was steal for lunch. We will be back to try more!
As a bonus, while we were there, Molly Wellman was consulting with the bartender. We tried her Cincinnati Gin and she explained the history of how she chose the recipe and went into a deep dive of the history of distilling in Cincinnati. So we had a very educational lunch! Thanks Molly!

Not busy, Saturday morning, great atmosphere. Ordered an omelette. Added tomatoes. They were grape tomatoes sliced in half tossed in the omelette. COLD. It was cold, the cheese looked old and a slice from a deli. “Herbs” were ONLY parsley flecks. Bland. Onion soup “up charge” was a waste. Bland, tasteless, zero onions, zero depth, huge piece of bread and old looking cheese.
Bloody Mary was 2/10. Sub par. Came with lemon slice. No rim, no accoutrements. Over priced.
Food took 35 minutes to be brought to our table. It was disgraceful.

Busy little OTR French Bistro/Cafe by Chef Jean Robert. This bistro makes a perfect casual breakfast/lunch/brunch destination, particularly on a beautiful weekend visit to Findley Market.
Flat croissant is a go-to dish on the brunch menu, and came highly recommended. We shared the Baked Camembert appetizer and it was memorable. We then had a flat croissant with a chilled curry soup (du jour) and croque madame.
Delicious not so fancy French brunch, Lively dining room, and a stroll through the market and OTR. A distinctly Cincinnati leisurely day!
Parking: Market area - So garage or paid street parking.
