I had the absolute best experience at Fretboard thanks to our server, Casey House! From the moment we sat down, Casey made us feel so welcomed and taken care of. They were attentive without ever being overbearing, super knowledgeable about the menu, and gave amazing recommendations that we ended up loving. On top of that, Casey’s energy and kindness made the whole experience even more enjoyable—it felt like we were being served by a friend who genuinely cared.
If you’re at Fretboard, ask for Casey—you’ll be guaranteed outstanding service and a great time!
Amazing staff, excellent food! Had a great time!
We had a great server, Trinity. Very attentive and informative. Also, the food was delicious!
Aaaamazing
First time customers. Our waitress was very sweet and very attentive asked if any of us had any allergies. When we left I accidentally left my Togo box inside within 5 of going back to get it they had already cleared the table. The waitress apologized and offered to make the entire meal again from scratch and gave me a fresh meal to take home. We were very happy with everything and will be returning.
First time at Fretboard Brewing, and the beer is great.
Great food and beer with lovely live music - a good way to start your weekend!
Good setting, average music (which is fine, I came to socialize) to vibe with. Great beers and food was tasty. EXCEPT the smoke chicken as it was very dry, even with BBQ sauce. Maybe I received a one off or something. At any rate I would recommend and will return.
Beer was decent, priced highly as expected for a brewery, but not over 2025 post-inflation standards. I did order a grilled cheese with an add-on for turkey. Guess it’s my fault, barely any meat on it for $13-ish dollar with no side. Cooked nicely though
Great place to hangout and plan ur happy hours

Great food and beer
Fretboard is one of my top 2 go to breweries here in town. I love the original, Factory 52 and Harrison locations. Beer is always very good and bartenders know their stuff and treat you right. It is awesome to have them as part of the great brewery scene in Cincinnati.
We had a great time. The live music was amazing too. We had spicy garlic wings that were so meaty and the perfect amount of spicy. The Smokey BBQ chicken sandwich was great too. I loved the coleslaw and wish there was more of it! Enjoyed the beer too. I had a Super Orange hazy that was so good. We also had Improv and liked it. It’s a clean, fun, chill brewery. They have live music on the weekends and there’s a dance floor too. It’s kid friendly. They have highchairs and a kids menu. The kids were having fun too. Grab some merch while you are there too.
Nice place... Some really good beer, and the food from the BBQ joint (inside the brewery), is really good too... Looking forward to going baxk.
Fantastic place! A variety of beers and excellent service! I visit a lot of breweries but this was my first time at this location. Michelle, our server behind the bar, made us feel welcome and had me smiling the whole time. Super busy but they were serving people left and right! The band, Floyd and the Walkmen, were Fantastic. People dancing and having such a good time. I would highly suggest seeing the band and visiting this venue
