We stopped by today for my birthday with reservations at 7pm. We still weren’t sat by 7:45pm and when we asked we were told it would be a “bit” longer. We left. The restaurant was dirty and dilapidated. They had portable AC units blasting cold air at 65 degrees. I couldn’t feel my fingers. Not worth the time or money to go there.

Went yesterday for my birthday. I don't know what was in the air but it was the best service from any other time I had gone. I really enjoyed myself there.

One of the worst experiences I've ever had. 190 dollars for three people my shrimp had a bad fishy smell and it's was so nasty you could not even eat it and would not even take no money off the bill. Should have went to Toki in Lebanon it would have been 100 dollars cheaper and way better food and cooking show. I learned a very costly mistake so do yourself a favor and save your money and get better service and food at Toki

It's Benihana, the food is pretty good quality, not top notch steakhouse, but not far. You go for the entertainment aspect, block out 2 hours minimum for an event here. You will smell like grease hibachi smoke like any other hibachi you've attended. The chefs here seem to be a little more entertaining than other regular hibachi.

Made reservations for 7:00, was early. We went into the bar area, was talking to the bartender when the manager interrupted our conversation without an apology. That was just the beginning … the bartender left without excusing herself or taking care of our bar order. She literally just walked away. We drove from NKY and will be sure to let our friends and family know about the lack of customer service. On our way to Fuji where we should have eaten to begin with. Very disappointed. What happened… we use to go to Benihana’s all the time and it was worth the trip… not anymore!

I don’t blame the wait staff or cooks at all for this bad experience, this is entirely on the management staff. We had a reservation and arrived at our specified time, our chef did not arrive for over two hours. I understand it was Mother’s Day but management should have staffed appropriately, and if they didn’t have enough staff then they should have adjusted the amount of tables to the amount of staff. Sure people would have been disappointed if their reservation was cancelled due to staffing but it would have been way better than what we experienced. Again the chef and wait staff were great, the only issue was the wait time which I place squarely at managements feet.

Do not recommend! Waited 15 minutes for a table. After waiting for a table, waited 30 minutes for a server for drinks and food order. After another 20 minutes and no drinks and no chef at the table, went to bar to get ordered drinks from bar. After another 20 minutes, we left without food and Manager MC demanding we paid for drink that wasn't drank. The worst service I have ever received in the state Ohio. Gave 1 star because zero stars wasn't an option!

Do not go here. It’s a scam.I went here with my date, just the two of us. Restaurant is empty. Hostess seats us at the hibachi table. Tells us it’s a good seat. We ordered 4 of sushi rolls, and then 2 entrees and 2 colas. No hibachi chef was involved.Turns out just sitting at the hibachi table is an automatic 60% surcharge to the total bill, regardless of the items ordered. Turned a $140 tab into a $250 tab just in surcharge fees and automatic gratuity.I was there with the woman I loved and was too embarrassed to cause a scene. These people took advantage of me.

Went for my birthday. Was seated & never saw the waitress again. Had to go to the bar for refills on drinks, the steak though… terrible! Nothing had any flavor! Benihana has gone down hill????

We arrived for a 745pm reservation and were told that we could not be seated until 845pm. No biggie, however, we weren’t seated until 930pm and we didn’t get to eat until 1130pm (after closing)! To top things off, a waiter started arguing with members of our party due to her entering our orders into the system incorrectly. I have never had such terrible service anywhere and I USED to love the establishment. The manager was very accommodating and we did receive our meal at a discounted price (however, after all that it was still overpriced)!! We did not leave until after midnight and had missed all our events that we were scheduled to attend after dinner. Very disappointing experience! :(
