Restaurants and bars like this are ESSENTIAL to the function of a local economy. Locally owned and operated, they've been in operation longer than I've been alive and consistently knocking it out of the park. Food specials every day of the week. They have a shockingly good fish & chips, which is saying a lot because I've had a lot of really good fish & chips
We visited the Gaslight Bar & Grill for Valentines Day dinner and so glad we chose to dine with them. Specials were created for the occasion to include libations, and their dinner menu was available to order from as well. My husband had the Ludlow Wellington, and I had the dinner special. Both dishes were so tasty and cooked to perfection! The Birth of Venus cocktail special was simply divine! The shortcake for dessert was the icing on our Valentines dinner at this neighbor...
Stuffy place. The waiter/bartender was hilarious. He was very personable, he checked on us often but not annoyingly, his drinks were great. The initial waitress/hostess... Eh. I'm pretty sure we were the wrong color. The atmosphere was quiet. The menu has items that are beyond my limited palate. I ordered the burger well done. Yeah, pink throughout. Drinks were ok. A patron actually stopped at our table to comment on someone's hair color. It was complimentary, however...
