**edit: erin (beverage director) called me to ask more questions about my experience & clarify what i was disappointed in. erin was incredibly friendly and understanding - she cleared up my confusion about the martinis & let me know that the recipe has not changed since ghost baby opened. the espresso martini pictured is not nearly as “foamy” as it usually is, which she said is not how it is supposed to look, so she said she will double check their process & machines to ensure every espresso martini ordered is the quality they intend. i am very impressed with their customer service & will be returning soon! thank you! —— they have changed their espresso martini recipe. for the past 4 years I have been coming here, it has been fresh espresso in their espresso martinis. tonight they served me 2 espresso martinis that were made from ketel one batched espresso. not impressed & disappointed at the switch up. used to be my favorite espresso martini in cincinnati - not anymore.

The guy checking IDs at the door got very rude when I and others couldn’t understand him. He had his face wrapped in a scarf or something. He started yelling at us in another language when we couldn’t understand him. Not a nice guy. Otherwise, great atmosphere. Very unique place. And the staff inside was top notch. Even found aa seat in the reserved section for me and friend who had never been there before.

What a fun speakeasy experience! A few floors down and you're in another world! Good drinks, friendly staff, decent music, and an ambiance that's full of life! It's loud so prepare for that and if you're in the back, it may not be as fun as when you're in a larger group closer to the front side in a booth so location dependent on what you experience.
The bar area outside the reservable music space was giant bench seating with a bar in the middle so it's pretty tight in there. Good luck on a conversation without screaming.
All in all a fun time but selective on experience based on where you're at and the music that happens to be playing.

I always love coming to Ghost Baby when I’m in town - they have amazing cocktails and a very cool ambiance. We did our most recent visit after the American Legacy Underground tour (which was awesome because we had just learned about the history of these brew caves) and got treated to live music with our cocktails. This is one of those institutions that shows just how cool Cincinnati is! I will absolutely be back.
Wow this place is so cool. Truly unique venue. Excellent music and strong delicious drinks. I think their old fashioned is the best I’ve ever had.
