While visiting thee high school that my wife's father attended, we stopped for lunch at Gilligan's on the Green, a restaurant and brewery. I was told by our waiter that Gilligan's was once the old fire station of Wyoming, a suburb of Cincinnati. We chose to sit outside on the deck. Inside the resturant, our waiter said, there were rooms that acould accommodate small groups up to 60 for a special event or party. It was a Friday and from some past remembrance of my youth of having fish on Fridays, I chose the fish and chips. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich. I didn't get a few "fingers" of fish ... I got a hunk of fish, expertly fried with a nongreasy tempura like crust. There is a great list of pub style favorites on the menu, and a full bar.While not entirely an Irish pub it can't be ruled out:) Gilligan's has great service, ample parking and is wheelchair accessible.
Parking: Plenty of available parking. This was lunch time.
Kid-friendliness: Outdoor seating. Family atmosphere.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible.

We went to Gilligan's on Trivia night and had a big pretzel and beer cheese appetizer and my friend and I each got the burger special, subbing in a salad for fries. It was so good! The service was very good as well.

Food was very good, especially the special soup-of-the-day which was "butternut squash, carrot, and something else." Nice fall flavor!! Nice texture!!
The serving temperature could have been much hotter, however. One of my friends asked them to "zap" her bowl in the microwave to make it hotter.... Waitress apologized and said they do not have a microwave! Interesting!
The soup comes with a little potato-pancake-thing on the side, which was not a favorite of mine.... Pretty bland actually.
The Reuben rolls were very good, too.... Just the right amount of Reuben flavor for me, with dipping sauce. I used them as my entree.
Lots of fun merchandise, but couldn't find anyone to tell me any prices!! Nothing seemed to be labeled and there was no printed signage about prices either.
Signed up for their frequent-customer program, so we'll definitely be back!

Once seated, it took 20+ minutes to get a menu, another 15 minutes before we interacted with our waitress. Waitress came to our table 3 times: order food, serve food, and give us our tab. No drink refills and no, how are you doing. We ordered fish and chips and a burger. Both were 3 out of 10. We will not be back. Great location. Maybe go for a drink and skip the food.

We have dined at Gilligan's three times now. We had a great experience during our first visit dining on the patio for dinner and our second visit having lunch indoors. Unfortunately the third visit leaves us not wanting to return. We had an amazing reuben sandwich for lunch previously and were looking forward to getting it again.
We were not aware, however, that the restaurant had changed their menu within the couple weeks we had just been there and switched the corned beef out for brisket. The sandwich arrived looking less than appealing. It was hard, burnt, and greasy. It was borderline inedible. We only ate half of our orders. The onion rings were very greasy and inedible as well. It left us questioning if the kitchen staff knew what they were doing. It should also be mentioned that the waitress seemed off the whole night, making weird comments and frequently being nowhere to be found when we needed her. We were really hoping this would be a staple dinner location for us. It seems like the menu changes were a major downgrade. Less selection and less quality.

They had a qr code and asked for a review. Here is my review. We waited for five minutes at the host stand and we were ignored when a waitress walked by. We could not get anyone's attention so we left. We certainly will never return.
Good food, nice variety of options on the menu. Ample parking. Atmosphere is nice, full bar with plenty of cocktail options.

Dined here last week, Had the Grilled salmon with carrot puree & the bacon cabbage. It was a NICE sized filet, I asked for mid-rare & it was perfect, their house salad with vinaigrette was also OFF the charts! Dessert was their brownie a la mode, also stellar.
ALL worth the price, the staff are all very gracious & attentive. Floor Mgr. / maitre D' was all over, clearing dishes as I notice NO bussers . . .which for the waiters is NICE, since there's less, or NO tip-out.
In the bar, there must be 30 beers on tap, their liquor selection is a bit limited & I didn't get the chance to see their wine list.
Can't WAIT to go back & EXPLORE! It's SO good that Wyoming finally got a great restaurant to replace Sturkey's!
