While visiting thee high school that my wife's father attended, we stopped for lunch at Gilligan's on the Green, a restaurant and brewery. I was told by our waiter that Gilligan's was once the old fire station of Wyoming, a suburb of Cincinnati. We chose to sit outside on the deck. We went to Gilligan's on Trivia night and had a big pretzel and beer cheese appetizer and my friend and I each got the burger special, subbing in a salad for fries. It was so good! The service was very good as well.
Food was very good, especially the special soup-of-the-day which was "butternut squash, carrot, and something else." Nice fall flavor!! Nice texture!!
The serving temperature could have been much hotter, however. One of my friends asked them to "zap" her bowl in the microwave to make it hotter.... Waitress apologized and said they do not have a microwave! Interesting!
