Came in with a group of 6. Waited over an hour for food and was told it was because there was a large group downstairs that had ordered at the same time. Food tasted fine. My wrap had some pretty sad/bad lettuce, but was otherwise good. Fries were good. Service was slow outside of the long wait for food. To top it all off, my wife got food poisoning from the wings/blue cheese. I’m not sure if it’s a one off, since there are a lot of good reviews here, but it was a very disappointing experience.

I came in with 3 friends and I read the fish and chips were good, well let me agree they are very good.
We sat at the bar and relaxed, had a drink and ordered our food. There was only the bar tender working the main floor and she was doing a very good job. Don’t be in a hurry or rude. Pretend you are in Europe and relax.
The food was very good and I liked the bread pudding. It was different, not in a bad way, I make bread pudding at home and this is more of a huge slice of French toast with a sauce.
I really enjoyed the fish and chips as well as the bread pudding. I can’t wait to come back and get a Rubin as I heard this was good as well. I will probably order the bread pudding again as well, just wish it had some chocolate chips or heath bar baked into the bread. That would have been next level.

Cozy place to visit with friends or to take out of town guests. The railroad tracks are right next to the building but they are quiet due to no horn restriction.
