Gold Star + Tom & Chee

Went for the Tom and chee for my daughter. It was NOTHING like Tom and Chee. Bacon bits, not real bacon, and shredded cheese, not slices, not a great experience.

I went here because I was wanting Tom & Cheese. I had gone to another Tom & Cheese location in West Chester and had such a wonderful experience, so I thought I would try this one. Buyer beware, rant incoming! This place is not a true Tom & Cheese location in my opinion. It's first and foremost a Gold Star. If you want Gold Star then this place would be a solid 4 star. However they only offer a partial Tom & Cheese menu, very disappointing. Also they do not provide the same food as a regular Tom & Cheese. Got the southwestern street corn salad it had a romaine blend instead of mixed greens for the base, the chipotle ranch salad dressing was also not the same as theirs has a spicier kick to it, and the tortilla strips were dry and very stale. I ended up picking them out. Second the mac & cheese ticked me off. It's supposed to be a four cheese blend. The West Chester location makes theirs using white cheeses; it's so creamy, well baked, and absolutely delicious. However, this location uses a cheap-box-tasting mac & cheese adding in their yellow cheddar cheese. Seriously, it is no better than the Walmart deli counter mac, disgusting over cooked pasta that is definitely not creamy, delicious, or worth the $5 price tag. Needless to say, I'm beyond livid with my experience and the amount of money I spent for this meal. I will NOT return here as they are giving Tom & Cheese a bad name. If I want Gold Star, I'll go to my normal local location where at least I don't feel like I'm being lied to about what they offer on their menu.

Gold Star has an app that works! It was very easy to navigate and place my order. The food was ready as promised and tasted good.

Should have learned my lesson the first time, but now lesson learned. My bf and I have gotten sick from eating at this location twice now. Never eating here again. Please have a conversation with your employees about food safety, thank you.

Her food was ok my food though wasnt good at all 2 cheese coneys sucked and the 5 way was nasty as hell doubt if ill be back for awhile

Normally don't write reviews on google but.....this was the first time EVER that the items we purchased were poorly made. Two cheese coney's and two chili cheese sandwiches and NEITHER had much chili on them. Would guess not even two tablespoons of chili. Very disappointed!!

Parking: Didn't have to worry about parking because we went through the drive thru.
