My wife and I took 4 family members who live in New Jersey and California and had never eaten Cincinnati Chili to the Gold Star restaurant at 4544 Reading Road, Cincinnati for lunch on Tuesday, June 24. It was a totally wonderful experience. The manager and server were incredibly hospitable and welcoming and made everyone feel at home, explaining the menu and even bringing bibs to protect our clothes. I stopped eating at Gold Star Chili for a long time I gave it another chance and stopped at the Bond Hill Reading Rd. Location and just wow its was so good it was hot just good all the way around.. Yes I had to call and let the staff know his good it was thank you I'll be back soon

The food was ok but I'm shocked that after the pandemic it's so many restaurants that don't have enough help. The inside was closed and it was literally two or three people serving.
