I've ordered here probably under a handful of times and it does the job for my Chinese food cravings. There's not a lot of non-fast food establishments in the Eastgate area but at least I'm glad that golden chen exists. I've always done take out so far and I've never had any issues. The staff is really nice and the food is ready really quick. I typically would order the broccoli beef, orange chicken, and I ordered their noodles. My mom thought they were good so she really enjoyed it. The food is good and the surface is good, but nothing really spectacular. If you're craving just basic Chinese food - definitely come here. The prices are very affordable and it's overall a good experience.

Good quantity for the price. Everything was good. Lots of take out but we ate in and had good service. We will be back.

I had carry out. The Shrimp Fried Rice was the best I have ever had. The Shrimp was fresh and tasty. It was good quality Shrimp. It a really good overall taste. I live in Northern Kentucky, 14 miles away, but I will drive over just to have more of their Shrimp Fried Rice. It egg roll was not fresh, but the Shimp Fried Rice was delicious.

Absolutely the best Chinese food on the Eastside! Portion sizes are great! Quality of the food is amazing! We always call ahead and get it to go and the service is always fast and friendly! No other place I will order from!

Meh. I stopped in for lunch yesterday with my daughter while shopping in the area. My daughter has gotten takeout from them a few times on her way home from work and warned me that it wasn't authentic Chinese. I was fine with that. Unfortunately, the food wasn't so-much Americanized as just bad. The lunch special goes through out the weekend and until 3 p.m. - so that's a plus. My daughter ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken and I ordered the Hot & Spicy Chicken. Both of us ordered the Wonton Soup, instead of an egg roll. It comes with fried rice. The soup broth was bland and the meat inside the wonton was a weird brown color. Not sure what was in it. My daughter's Sweet & Sour Chicken was the standard found at these types of places. My Hot & Spicy Chicken was just sweet & sour sauce with a squirt of sriracha in it. It was super, super sweet and tasted awful. I didn't finish it. The service was really quick and friendly. And the lunch specials are cheap.

Actually the food was somewhat good. What is confusing is that chow-main, if I understand the meaning states that you are getting noodles. If you order chicken chow-main it should be noodles in a sauce like soy, small vegetables, onions maybe and chunks of chicken. Instead here you get actually chop suey (cabbage, veggies and little bits of chicken) and about 6 deep fried small noodles. If you are going to surve chop suey then change your menus and if you say chow-main in your menu then you need to serve soft noodles that look like noodles.

Fav Chinese food in the area! The crab Rangoons are delicious, although not very crabby. My husband loves that about them, though. Really good beef teriyaki!

Came here with a car full of kids asked how they could help me but, was told they were no longer taking orders. I frequent this restaurant NEVER again, the restaurant had people waiting and was still taking orders for delivery & pickup. Just not for black people apparently. A white man came in after me and the hostess promptly took her order.
