Things are a little different now. You go up & they give you a plate. You tell them what you want & they serve it up. It works pretty well & they are all wearing gloves. Except for the girl at the dessert area who was on her phone & not paying attention to customers its a good idea.

Then your brain goes in a tizzy as you try to decide which of the beautiful choices you want to pile on your plate. Finally, your palate thanks you as settle down and enjoy every tasty bite. The friendly staff, who have been so helpful, offer a cheerful thanks for coming as you leave, wishing you hadn't eaten so much. But, it was just so darn good!

I eat in this nice place quite a bit! This is my favorite restaurant to pass a nice evening. I go to this spot regularly. The meals are very good, the staff is helpful and the charge is fair. I enjoy meeting in this restaurant to have a tasty supper.

The only reason I’m giving this review 1 star is because 0 stars is not an option. Tonight myself, husband, newborn and toddler dined at the Golden Corral on Mason-Montgomery rd.. I was carrying my newborn in his car seat and my husband was carrying our toddler, high chair cover, and diaper bag. Our hands were completely full so my husband suggested me and our children go find a table and then he would walk back to the counter to pay and order drinks. We quickly found a table and my husband sat our things down and immediately went back up front to wait in line, order drinks and pay for our meal. Fast forward, I am nursing my newborn and my husband goes up to get me a second plate of food. He then was approached by some unprofessional woman with tattoos on her neck who he later found out was the MANAGER who accused him of not paying for our food!!!!! Mind you she did this in front of a crowd while my husband was fixing a plate. My husband told her he paid and even told her that our receipt was at our table which she refused to believe and then rudely said she would go WATCH THE VIDEO to prove that my husband was lying. After watching the security cameras SHOCKER.....there my husband is PAYING FOR OUR FOOD immediately after helping me to the table with our 2 little ones. Had she listened and looked at our receipt and matched the last 4 digits with my husband’s debit card she wouldn’t have had to waste time watching a video. My husband was humiliated because of this so called professional “manager” and demanded a refund so that we could immediately leave. He didn’t even finish his first plate of food because he was so mad and wanted to get out of there. For starters, the incompetent manager should have come to our table instead of confronting and embarrassing my husband in front of other customers, second when he told her to check the receipt AT OUR TABLE she should have come to check it, she told him she did but that was a lie because I was sitting there the entire time, and lastly she should have humbly apologized. Instead she continued to be nasty with him because she couldn’t handle the fact that the customer was right and she wasn’t. She came to our table and gave us 2 cards to dine in free another time at this location. And still had a disgusting attitude. THERE WILL NEVER BE A TIME THAT WE WILL DINE AT THIS POORLY MANAGED RESTAURANT AGAIN. This is what happens when unprofessional people are hired to do professional jobs. The ONLY positive thing I have to say is that the two women that waited on our table were wonderful!!! So personable, attentive, kind, and friendly. They deserve 5 stars. Their names were Susan and Amanda. But the manager, I think her name was Mae, will be the reason I will never dine at this location and will never recommend it to anyone.

Terrible: Our server Louis was terrible, he never came back to clear plates so by the end of the meal I had a table full of plates. I generally enjoy going to this Corral because the people are so nice so I'm surprised. No problems with the food, great as always.

Gave them a star bc I have to give at least one to write a review. Horrible food, horrible restaurant, not fresh at all. Not very clean. Went to grab a plate and it was dirty. Horrible and expensive experience. Avoid at all cost. Stay home and make Mac and cheese. Thank me later.

The food here on an early Saturday afternoon was pretty good and fresh. Service was very well to. Although the price is really getting kinda unreasonable. $33 dollars for 2 and 1 soda. It's just not worth that.

Tried the salad bar and they are really lacking with toppings. Didn’t even have romaine lettuce. Baked potato was old. Chili looked dried out like it was there for days. Even the steak was just ok. The only thing I thought was worth eating was the bbq chicken and they didn’t even refill it. The mushrooms weren’t even good this time and I got the last of the bunch. I was going to try again but they never refilled. I’ll never return. This visit was a retry from a year ago and it was even worse. Pay money for a buffet and leave hungry. Never again. I don’t want to be contacted because I wouldn’t even come back if it was free. Gross!!

Ok. This is the good buffet. Overall ,the food is good and the price is fair. I think it gets a bad rap. I was sad to see this place close in Medina. When the family can't make a decision on where to eat out, but you want to go out, this is a solid choice.
