The cutest little place for healthy, delicious food! My table got the brussel and shroom quinoa bowl, Mediterranean quinoa bowl, and adobo brisket and cheese sandwich, and everything was scrumptious. Prices are reasonable, food came out hot and quick, and the service is friendly! 5 stars all the way.Parking: It’s a busy area and finding parking, even on a Tuesday night, was difficult.
At Goodnolates Eatery, the service was impeccable, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food, from start to finish, was outstanding, featuring a diverse range of flavors and high-quality ingredients. A truly enjoyable dining experience worth revisiting.

I really want to like this restaurant more. I’m the perfect demographic, college-age, vegetarian, obsessed with healthy eating, and yet, I don’t see myself going back anytime soon with my current income.Pros:- Tasty, super healthy food (my favorite- I’m the target demographic!)- Artistic, interesting interior. The restaurant has an aesthetic look. This can’t be undervalued.Cons:- Small portions- Disposable sit-down containers and utensils- Lack of protein for vegetarians- poor value for moneyThis restaurant has a fundamental flaw. It doesn’t know quite what it wants to be. On one hand, it offers a well decorated restaurant with a refined menu with excellent quality food. On the other hand, the food is served in small portions (for the price) on disposable “dishes” with plastic silverware. If the prices (all between $8.50-$9) are to remain the same, the presentation HAS to get better. Guys, get some artsy unique plaits to complement your artsy interior design! Give the guests real, metal silverware and a glass water cup. Have the server take your check instead of paying up front. And serve bigger portions! I calorie-counted my entree, the Brussels and shroom quinoa bowl, and it was under 400 calories. A snack, for $9, served in a flimsy paper bowl. If you make these changes, people will gladly pay $11-$13 for entrees. If the paper dishes, small portions, and light service are to be kept, prices need to fall. Why else would I go here when so many great alternatives exist? Good Plates is far from the only healthy eating restaurant in Clifton. If my snack-sized bowl was, say, $5-$6, I’d instantly become a regular. The reason a restaurants like the Whole Bowl, BIBIBOP, or Chipotle are so successful is that you get SO much more food for the price. These are also ridiculously quick. On the other hand, many sit-down restaurants are successful charging often a minimum of $11-$12 because they offer large portions and full service. Good luck guys, I want to support a local place like this.

Ordered the Sweet Potato, Black bean and Quinoa bowl with Adobo beef and was pretty disappointed. There was no seasoning on anything and the adobo beef was pretty dry. The sauce was okay but didn't save it.
We randomly stopped here because the kids were hungry, and the food was outstanding, and our waiter was extremely helpful.

Got takeout meatball sub and poutine and the poutine is huge! Both are delicious. Good prices! Only place in town that I've found that sells actual poutine, too!

I ordered a burger with bacon jam, fries, wings, and drinks to go. ALL the food was packaged beautifully and the food was hot and fresh. The space itself is clean and the service is impeccable. I appreciate the fact that the owners provide biodegradable to go containers and cutlery. Above all, this is the best food I have had in the city! I can see the owners take pride in the work they do because it shows in every aspect of good plates eatery.

The food is excellent, and I have always liked the venue (big windows with lots of natural light). However, their use of disposable plastic cutlery (and disposable dishes) detracts from the otherwise classy vibe and is not sustainable. This restaurant seems like it should care about its footprint but when I asked the server about the plastic silverware, I was told "real silverware costs too much". This makes no sense to me. How can a one-time purchase of cheap metal silverware (e.g., could even purchase from a local secondhand store) cost more than single-use disposables? I would think the reusable silverware would quickly pay for itself. Please rethink this and make an effort to think about the planet. I want to be able to recommend this restaurant to everybody, but I can't currently.
