I am extremely disappointed with the service at your establishment. Our server Nikki was rude, mocking our order size and ridiculing us for taking "too much" sauce. Although the manager, Jeffery, apologized and offered a discount, the final bill was inflated, and we ended up being overcharged. This experience was unacceptable, and I will never go to this restaurant again ! ! !

Terrible Experience
We had a group dinner for 7 people at Gyu-Kaku in Cincinnati, and it was an awful experience. The server was extremely unprofessional, constantly making unnecessary comments and lecturing us on how we should behave. Her tone was sarcastic and condescending, which left us with a very bad impression.
When we asked to speak to the manager, they assured us they would talk to the server and offered us a 10% discount. However, when we got home, we realized that our bill included an extra $60 for items we never ordered!
This is absolutely unacceptable behavior from both the server and the restaurant. Such dishonesty and poor service are not what you expect from a reputable establishment. We will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone.

First f all the place was really dirty , the plastic panels between the booths looks like they had not been cleaned in awhile. Dirt on the floor everywhere and under the booths . We were there at one o’clock they weren’t busy at all . The food for the grill is very small and hard not to overcook. The grill surface was very small as well if our whole table would have ordered all you could eat menu we would still be there waiting our turn on our grill . It was kind of fun but not worth 86$ with no alcohol for 3 people. Sorry I won’t go back

Really a different Dining experience. There is a grill in the middle of the table and you cook your own food. There is a lot of food choices. The noodles were especially good.
Restaurantji Recommends
Gyu-Kaku could be the most famous Japanese bbq chain restaurant at Ohio. I have been here twice. Their meat always tastes fresh and juicy. I tried their lunch unlimited combo. I really liked the beef tongue and mochi ice cream. One thing that they could improve was that we only ordered at most 3 rounds due to the speed of service. I tried the premium beef rice bowl at the next visit. The bbq sauce was matched with the beef and rice well, but they put too much wasabi in it, which made me feel high.

My fiancee and i have been here a few times. It's wonderful for a date night. But not a place I'd go to all the time. Staff were super nice and knowledgeable.

Delicious and great service. Highly recommend! My Japanese uncle said the food was as good as it is at the Gyu-Kaku restaurants in Japan.
Parking: Since it is located in a popular mall, you may have to look a little during peak mall hours. There was a lot of parking at 6 pm on Wednesday evening.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair accessibility from all parking levels.
