I feel bad for leaving a one star review. The lunch bar was okay. Nothing special and when we arrived we did see a bug that resembled a roach. Again, I hate to report this. Let me know if y'all spray and treat and I might think about updating the review. Sorry!

The food was excellent and clearly homemade. It was a little disorganized (they had to unlock the door a half hour after their posted opening), but the place was worth it. It quickly filled up after we came in, so I'm guessing they have "regulars".

This was our first visit to this location and it did not disappoint. We were craving authentic Mexican street tacos and we found exactly that and more. Our order consisted of 3 chicken soft shell tacos and 3 barbacoa. Upon arriving at home we were greeted with the aroma of the most heavenly tacos we've had locally. The meats tasted quite fresh and prepared with side garnishments of two sauces and fresh vegetables. The meal also had chips and salsa. The spice level was adequately hot,but not too hot that your tongue melts. I would highly recommend this establishment and will return on the future . Apologies for the photo as we ate so briskly I had almost forgotten to take a picture up.

Stopped in around 1pm on Saturday to give it a try. There was only one table with customers. I was immediately greeted by the server, who gave me a menu and asked what I wanted to drink. So far so good. The server quickly brought my soft drink and walked away. As I looked at the menu, I noticed my plastic glass was cracked and leaking. Unfortunately, the lone server was too busy talking to the kitchen staff and then on the phone to get her attention. I sat there for another 5 minutes with the server in plain site, but she was not bothering to look in the direction of her customers. I eventually got up and left - leaving cash for the soft drink. I guess I'll never know if the food is as good as some claim since I won't be back.

Cute little restaurant. The food is good. I would of gave it five stars but the waiter didn’t understand me and didn’t give me all the food I ordered, so a little language barrier. The food I did get was good. They were out of fried ice cream so I got a free piece of cake. I will definitely come back.
The service was too notch. The food was beyond expectation. Very large portions that were reasonably priced. And the people working were friendly. Loved the atmosphere and the friendliness of everyone. This was a great way to end my monthly mommy daughter date.

So many positive things to say. The chips are light and crisp, not too salty. The salsa and guacamole are chunky and delicious (maybe a touch more salt). I had the lunch chicken enchiladas plate, came with rice and beans. Everything was fresh and delicious!! The staff was friendly and attentive. Need to come back for dinner and try their margaritas! A really nice experience.

Lengua tacos are so good here. My husband love the al pastor burrito. The staff are super nice and attentive to your every need. We love it here. Coming from San Diego originally, Habaneros is like being back home.
