In town for a wedding and since we had great service and breakfast day 1, we came back rhe next day and brought 4 more people with us to enjoy. Lilly and Amanda were our servers and they made our experience very pleasant. Then we met Julia, the GM that was the icing on the cake for our experience. Thank you to all!

The food, atmosphere, service, and ambience were top notch! The HOE‘s team members at Mt. Lookout - Julie, Mitch, Bri, and Murphy, were extremely hospitable and friendly. We were seated and served in less than 30 minutes. I recommend the Fried green tomato BELT sandwich with sweet tots (with the maple aoli), or the Chorizo Burger, paired with a pomegranate - mango martini! The clucking’ club washed down with a Medelo lager, is another one of our favs! We‘re definitely coming back soon.

This place is SO good. Specifically this location. The staff is so fun and attentive. The food is phenomenal and I can’t wait to come back and try more things from the menu. I got the chicken and waffles this time and the chicken was so juicy! If you’re feeling like brunch this is the place.

Absolutely LOVE this chain! I’ve been to both Cincinnati locations, and they’re definitely not restaurants to miss out on. The fun menus, animated servers, and delicious food make every visit worth it.
If you go, I 110% recommend the chicken and waffles and the French toast latte — both are incredible!
A special shoutout to Murphy, our bartender, who was hilarious and kept great conversation going, and Julie (the GM), who made sure our experience was perfect from start to finish. The Mt. Lookout location in particular is super spunky, quirky, and eclectic — I love the atmosphere and can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town!

UPDATE: I received gift cards from hang over easy a bit after this. I finally went the other day and the food was delicious. The French toast, sausage, and fresh fruit. The cold coffee beverage were also good. The service was impeccable. I’ll be back.
My party of 4 had to wait a little over an hour for food in a restaurant that currently occupied 8-10 people. Once our food arrived my avocado toast bread and egg was lukewarm and the other person in our party wasn’t asked how she liked her burgers cooked (not completely the servers fault) however it’s something you should be taught to ask in the service Industry Once she received a well done burger to replace her old one it was not right didn’t have any of the ingredients she wanted except for the mayo on the side. I want to knowledge this is the restaurants only first or second week, but I think an apology for the wait or have one of the items taken off would have gone a long way. Overall a good atmosphere, just the service, and food is lacking. I’ll be sure to see how they are doing some months from now and see if anything changes and if it did I’ll surely edit this review.

I just had THE best pumpkin cinnamon roll pancakes ever here - so soft and fluffy!! The GM is incredibly friendly and kind, she will hook you up with a good time!
They have on their website that if you miss your 2 minute wait window that they place you at the top of the list and seat you ASAP. We were waiting for over an hour so we were not close enough to make the 2 minutes. They did not place us at the top of the list and at that point we had been waiting for 2 hours. It was ridiculous so we left.

We came in and sat at the bar. Typically faster service, but the bartender there seemingly willfully ignored us. After about 10 mins of not being acknowledged, (it was not busy) during which time we watched him make a Bloody Mary by pouring vodka and then Bloody Mary mix into a pitcher without even making an attempt to mix it, we were finally acknowledged. This was the bartender’s time to shine! Instead of taking our order, he stated “I just need to do something.” He proceeded to clean up the entire bar, still did not take our order and walked away. We decided to leave. It was literally some of the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I don’t know who manages the place, but it was definitely a failure. Will not be back.

We are so happy to have HOE in our neighborhood! the staff has already gotten to know the locals and the service and food is always spot on. it's small and busy on the weekends but they have a waitlist on their website. also a great patio!

Awesome little place with great breakfast and friendly staff. Classic diner with a modern feel, if that makes sense. Had the Frog Eyes (biscuits with gravy and eggs) with a side of sausage. Food was amazing.
