Great small business with authentic food. We went for a work lunch with a group of six. We ordered:1. Miso soup - not too salty (4.5/5 ?)2. Salad - ginger dressing is savory and deliciously ?. (5/5 ?)3. Dosalt Bibimbap - I enjoyed this authentic dish. Fresh quality ingredients. (5/5 ?)4. Bulgogi beef - the person who ordered enjoyed. (5/5 ?)5. We ordered a few sushi rolls, and all were tasty. (5/5 ?)
My dining experience here was exceptional in every way. The attentive staff, inviting atmosphere, and delectable flavors all contributed to an unforgettable meal. I am already looking forward to my next visit and will eagerly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking an authentic Korean dining experience!
It was so great to go back here again after some years away. I had liked it before, but this time I was even more impressed by the food here. Many to most Korean restaurants I have seen in the U.S. haven't seemed authentic at all to me, but this one really does. The Chapchae was just like the Chapchae I used to have in Korea, and I'd say the Pajon we had seemed even better than the Pajon I had in Korea. Also, they served delicious, popular side dishes I was used to and also one that was an interesting spin-off of what I'd had before. This is in a convenient downtown location, and it was really cool to be able to watch the FC Cincinnati game on the screen at Fountain Square while walking back to the car.
Plates and spoons were chipped! The fried calamari tasted like plastic, and also felt like it too! The only thing saving them is the mediocre sushi and the cute metal silver wear that they give you to eat you food with.
This is a little restaurant on Vine, right across from the Hampton/Homewood hotel. The staff are really friendly and professional. Quiet atmosphere, and feels like fine dining. The menu has a pretty good selection, and their sushi menu is great as well. Definitely my new comfort food spot when I come to visit Cincinnati.
Underwhelmed for the price. Only had the Soon tofu and 2 cups of tea = $22. It had 2 little clams and some strips of the calamari. While I still ate all the soup (didn’t want to waste it), it lacked a lot of flavor. Felt more like a watered down version I could make myself. Strike that - I would have loaded up with more seafood. I realize I didn’t pay additional for the seafood combo, but I expected more than 2 clams and a couple strips of the calamari. Felt a little bitter that my second cup of tea was another $3.5. Would have been nice to be warned, but I didn’t ask so I paid it anyway. The hot tea was too sweet which is not what I expected - I was hoping the second cup was better - no. Parking happened to be easy, but I was lucky a space opened up. I’ll pass on trying again. There are too many other Korean places in town.
Food was delicious. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the sushi but everything else was delicious.
Park on the nearby public Parking lots. We walked in without reservation. We were shortly greeted and seated. The restaurant was not busy, yet it took 7 minutes until a waiter took our appetizer and drinks order. They arrived after a long wait. The waiter was knowledgeable, inattentive and did not seem to care about providing service. The food presentation is not great, yet tasted good to the ordered spiciness level. Having been and eaten in South Korea, this restaurant serves very watered down Korean style food. It add to the diversity of the area's food offerings.
The Bimibap here is the best in the city. The homemade Gojujang sauce makes the dishes. Slightly disappointed in the size of the cuts of the nigiri sushi.Absolutely order the vegetable dumplings, you won’t regret it!
Awesome service and staff. Mary provided great guidance with my main dish selection. Food is tasty, drinks are good, reasonably priced.

Pros: decent food, clean, nice servers, one of only Korean food places in the areaCons: expensive, smallish portions, not fantastic food--I'm not korean and it's been a while since I've had authentic korean food so I can't say for sure if it is authentic or not. It was tasty but not as delicious as korean I've had in the past. Banchan were sad. Like three broccoli and a spoonful of potatoes and a spoonful of kimchi. Entrees were a more reasonable size--not as big as I'm used to but a little more than enough for two people.Overall: Good but not worth the expense. Probably won't go back unless I really want korean food and have no other options. If you have the money and aren't picky about your korean food then it is worth it.If you go, get the spice strong. I'm used to korean places making things very spicy for me so I went for mild spice and my yookgaejang tasted like nothing until I added 6 big spoonfuls of korean red pepper.
The restaurant's website says "The Authentic Korean Restaurant."As a Korean, I would like to say "NO!!" It is Americanized Korean food. Taste of Soft Tofu soup is like Seafood Ramen Soup (If you are Korean, you know what I mean). The grilled mackerel is too burnt.Pros: Again, It is Americanized Korean food. I can recommend this place to my American friends. Clean.Cons: Expensive. Over $7 for Salad?? Oh no~~~I spent over $100 for lunch, but only 3 Banchan?-
Parking: Don't use "SP+ Parking" beside the restaurant. They will charge you DOUBLE if your tire touches the parking line. Use the SpotHero app to reserve parking space at 7W7 Garage across from the restaurant. Reserved space will be on the first floor. You will not walk too much.
Delicious food, great location, and friendly staff! Will definitely be back next time I am in Cincinnati.
I was pretty disappointed. Korean food is usually really good, and this place got good reviews, but it was mediocre at best. Quality seemed more on par with your average Chinese takeout place. I got beef bulgogi which is a classic and usually delicious but not here.
Had my 3rd year anniversary at this restaurant. The food was so amazing. I would strongly suggest you have $100 to spend before you go to this place.
