I ordered the three piece tilapia dinner and unfortunately it wasn't my taste. I gave them a second chance because my boyfriend says they have amazing chicken tenders. I went through the drive thru a second time and ordered the 6 piece tender dinner. They gave me 6 bone-in wings instead.. So I guess I won't be back.

I used to live just steps away from this small shop, yet somehow, I never stepped inside. Not once. But life is strange like that. It was a rainy day in August 2024 when I found myself back in the area, no longer living there but drawn in by work. Maybe it was the weather, or maybe it was the way things lined up that day, but for the first time, I walked into that shop.
It stood alone, surrounded by parking lots, like it had been forgotten by time. No one was inside, not surprising since dine-in wasn’t even an option. A few chairs sat in the corner, serving the few who chose to linger while their food was being prepared. Behind the counter, through a thick glass wall, I could see the kitchen where everything happened.
A young girl worked the counter, her accent giving away that she was likely from somewhere in South Asia or the Middle East. I ordered the usual—Lunch Special combo number 1: one piece of deep fried tilapia, five pieces of headless shrimps, fries, and a free drink of choice.
The girl spoke with a sharpness that might’ve seemed rude to some, but I didn’t care. I wasn’t here for pleasantries, just for my food. It made me think of those one-star reviews people leave, complaining about an interaction that lasts less than a minute. What did it matter if my food came out fresh and hot?
I sat down at a chair that I bet remained unoccupied most of the time in a corner of the shop. I took a good look of the interior. The inside was simple, worn by years of use, but well-kept, as if it had seen countless days just like this one, the old floor tiles, the chipped walls, the vending machine in the corner that reminded me of things long gone. And for a moment, it felt like I was the only one there, even as others came in, searching for their own piece of comfort.
When my food was ready, it was handed to me in a small paper bag, warm to the touch. I left, walking back to my car where I could escape the rain. I opened the bag and found a simple meal. It wasn’t much, not by any standard, but there was something in the way it tasted that made it feel like more. The fish was tender, the shrimp just enough, and the fries, though not perfect, were exactly what they needed to be in that moment.

They have the best gyros I have tasted in cincinnati! But if u had to recommend a favorite I would have to go with the sweet potato pie it is simply the best that I have ever tatsed! If you have the time I would recommend you go to one of the many locations scattered throughout the great city of Cincinnati.

I visited all hooks and I feel this one is best. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Food is very tasty and awesome, especially when we eat it right away.
My experience today was horrible. The girl taking my order was rude by phone and pickup. The fish and chicken was overcooked on both combo meals. They were out of fried mushrooms. The cole slaw ordered was warm, due to placing the slaw in bag with the hot food. Terrible service, no greeting when entering, no thank you when paying. Better service at other stores or Mike's fish and chicken.

Portion size was good. However, the cod was not the tender white fish I’m used to. It was thick and chewy and dry. The catfish nuggets, even tho I asked they be cooked well they were still undercooked and wet inside. The banana pudding was literally banana flavored pudding with a couple cookies stuck in it. The pictures are very very deceiving and is Not what they offer. In other words false advertising!!!
Very disappointed with my whole meal!

Ordered 20 wings and they gave different wings than they usually serve. They were small, disgusting, broken bones and gray meat and not worth what I paid. Won’t come back after going here for years. Will find another wing spot.

Food is always good. Service is slow but that's okay because the food is always fresh and hot! No sitting under heat lamps here. You might want to pay in cash though because there's a surcharge for credit and debit cards.

Menus and prices need updating. Went to order off the 5.99 lunch menu and the man said it was 8.99
There was filth everywhere in there. If the health inspector was there, the restaurant would be shut down.
