Just stopped at Hooks in Avondale, got 6 wings for $10. When I got home to eat the fries were delicious. But the wings were really overcooked, to hard to enjoy. For years I have always enjoyed their food. I called to speak to owner and was told to bring the food back. It was thunderstorms and I don't live in Avondale. I asked for a credit but no luck.

This was my first time visiting. I picked up lunch for my daughter and I treated myself as well. It was ?...I got the scrimp and fries. I've never been a fries kind of person but I ate them...next time I'll just get their jumbo scrimp only cause I do love scrimp...thanks for setting me up for a return trip... Scrimp Here I Come??

Since the newer ownership took over- This is my go to spot. ITs 2 blocks away. Everything is fresh. Whether it's Fried, steamed, or a gyro everythings on point here. I am addicted to the HOOK. I admit it! The owners are hilarious and kind. Last night I grabbed fried shrooms, fried oysters, a burger, chicken fingers, a gyro and a chicken philly. Cost was dirt cheap in comparison to other joints. You guys keep rocking HOOK!!!!!
