This is a very good place to be if you're looking for lunch. The food is very good and the staff are friendly. Both times I was there the owner was sitting in the dining room either doing paperwork or asking customers how their experience has been and that was a nice touch. He even gave out $1 off coupons and if there was an issue like the last time I went where I was waiting for too long he will make up for it without a second thought. I got a free side of mini cookies today because I had to wait for service (I didn't mind waiting, but it was a nice bonus). The only thing I dislike about this place is that it can be kinda loud and echoing due to the open ceilings and music being played. But it is not too overbearing and the food definitely makes up for it! If you are around North College Hill and need a quick and filling lunch then this is the place to be!

My mom and I went shortly after they opened. While I should have known better than to order a veggie dish at a Mac and cheese place, I was still highly disappointed. For $13 dollars I had a bowl of frozen veggies, reheated with a bit of sauce. There was so much water that it filled the entire bottom of the tray (see photos). It also took about 15-20 minutes for this and one Mac and cheese bowl. They may still be working out the kinks of being a new restaurant but I was hoping for a better experience.

Tried this place for the first time today.The ordering experience was a little bit stressful, the customers that I was in line with seemed to share the same feelings, and even the employees seemed a bit stressed and confused. I'm sure that comes along with the territory when you're opening a new store, and the employees were very nice. It was all just stressful.I got a build your own Mac and Cheese bowl, which was really good! No issues there, would absolutely eat it again. The mini cookies are great too.However, I also ordered a build your own grilled cheese with some veggies and short ribs. This was a to-go order, so unfortunately I didn't realize the sandwich was missing the short rib until I was home. It was just bread, veggies, and cheese. My husband said it was good, but was disappointed by the lack of protein, given that the sandwich wasn't cheap ($12-13).So overall 3/5. Minus a star for the stressful atmosphere and minus one for the lack of shortrib (still sad about that one).Would definitely come back and try again but would check my food before leaving if I got a to-go order for a second time.
