We stopped in for breakfast and had a pleasant experience overall. Helen, our waitress, was attentive, friendly, and kept everything moving smoothly, which made the visit enjoyable. I ordered the avocado toast. It was good, though not quite great. My father had the crepes and really enjoyed them. Service made the difference here, and Helen did an excellent job taking care of us.

Our experience today was very disappointing. From the start, our server Amanda was rude and seemed rushed, almost like she didn’t want to serve us. When she brought our drinks, she set them down roughly and tossed the straws onto the table, which already felt unprofessional.

We were also given the wrong food. Amanda came back to apologize, but then asked for the wrong dishes back, which didn’t feel sanitary. If the manager needed to see the mistake, she could have simply informed them—but no one came to address it.

Towards the end of our meal, after we brought up the issues, Amanda became visibly upset and stopped serving our table. She sent another server to finish helping us instead of addressing the situation professionally.

Overall, the service was extremely disappointing and far below what we expected.

Waitress was superb! Many tables were empty and still took 20 to 30 minutes to get us a table. Food was excellent.

Just avoid this pigsty with poor service and unsanitary food servers

Joanie and Amanda were extremely helpful with making sure I got my free pancakes for my 65th birthday today.

Both were very attentive; and I appreciate the great service of this IHOP in Anderson. I'll be returning very soon.

Went there tonight on a Sunday at 7pm, only 2 tables with 2 people at each. Like a ghost town-who’s working?? Waited a few to be seated, took awhile to get the food. Pancakes and basically eggs-takes minutes to make. The steak omelet has really gone downhill, no flavor missing ingredients that was in the description. Overall the food was not worth the $40 we spent. Last time we will ever go there.Even had to wait at the register to pay. If we were different people we could have easily left without paying.

Have waited for an hour at the time of writing this for my food. Still waiting. Have been offered fruit to curb my appetite. I haven’t eaten all day and I am very very mad. This is an awful place to eat at. This is my friend sitting in his misery waiting for the food.

Anything and Everything

Wait was absolutely insane, we are still waiting on our food as I am writing this. It has been almost an hour and everyone in the restaurant is waiting on their food. I will not be coming back and I advise if you want to eat breakfast at breakfast time and not afternoon you go somewhere else. They are not even busy.

Went on my birthday. The restaurant smelled like urine. I thought I wouldn't smell it once we were seated since that would put us further away from the restroom but it didn't help. The servers are always awesome but the food is trash. Pancakes are smaller than they were during the pandemic and they looked old. I don't understand what's so difficult about making eggs fried hard. The sirloin tip amount gets smaller and smaller. We're just over IHOP at this point.
