New owners who bought this place over the summer of 2025 started by gutting the staff which destroyed the vibes. I WENT here for these people on weekends and during happy hours. The new staff had clearly never worked in a bar or worked in a sports bar before.
They continued to change the vibe of the space by removing memorabilia that had been there for years, tried to introduce hookah into a sports bar, and were doing dumb shit like selling vapes and other shit that’s just TACKY to do in this kind of space.
They clearly don’t know how to run a business or what they even wanted this space to be.

Stopped by after work for a drink. 4:15 ish. Only a three options on draft. Stella, blue moon, and something else. Asked if they had any snacks, chips pretzels, etc. But nope. The were waiting for the cook to arrive before they could start offering food.
The draft also ended up being full price. Now I didn't go looking for a happy hour discount but a little surprised there wasn't one to try and draw in more business.
I'd go back if I was desperate for a drink after work and didn't have other options.

I wanted to like this place so badly as I love local dives and this seemed to have that vibe from the outside. We went in September (it was unseasonably hot outside) but after walking there, we were very surprised for it to be STIFILINGLY hot inside. Beer was cold which was good but didn't stay cold long even in a koozie. Can't speak for food as we were too hot to stay for more than one drink.

Came here last night with a couple friends before the Cyclones game. Right away we were treated pretty poorly by the female bartender. When we sat down and were talking and deciding what and how we wanted to order, she asked from across the bar “so are you guys gonna order anything or what?”. We hadn’t even been sitting down for 5 minutes. I had every intention of walking up to the bar when we were ready to order. We ordered 2 orders of tenders and fries, loaded tots, fried pickles, and a round of drinks. Then, I wanted to order another round before happy hour ended at 7. Granted it was 6:58 but in my experience bar staff are usually 100% okay ringing in an order before the drinks are made to get the happy hour discount. Which is then usually reflected in the tip. She argued with me about it then acted like there was nothing she could do when she rang it up normal price. Finally, when I wanted to close my tab, she mad direct eye contact with me and proceeded to ignore me. When I politely said I just wanted to close my tab, she said “yeah me too” then kept walking to another patron at the bar. This was a really unfriendly experience and I won’t be back.

I guess most people stop in here when they're going to the game or after the game. How is in town for a concert? That's Taft and walked down and have their who dey burger with fries. Service is great. Atmosphere is awesome. Sports, you know atmosphere wasn't too busy. Food came quick and was great. Just an overall good time.
