Found this place before the Reds game. The beer was cold and bartender was friendly. Loved the Reds history throughout the bar. I recommend this place if you're in the area if you're looking for something not so high-class.

Went in for opening day, and it was a really enjoyable experience. The place was packed , but i didn't have to wait too long for service. Nice bar downtown to stop by for drinks and food before or after a game. I liked it so much I came back the next day, and I'm typing this while having a few drinks.

Went in here after a Bengals game and as you would expect it was very crowded and as you would expect it’s gonna take a while to get served. What I don’t expect is the lone server at our bar repeatedly saying loudly to the whole bar that he is going from one end to the other and then skipping me and the guy next to me and then serving 5 other customers first and when I flag him down asking for help abusing me and shouting ‘do you know how busy I am!’. The only thing going for this bar is the proximity to the Reds stadium and to a lesser degree the Bengals Stadium. Do yourself a favor and walk one more block for something, anything, that is infinitely better.

I’ve been coming to this location before this bar existed here. Most bars in the spot were rough and not enjoyable. However InBetween Tavern is easily the best bar that’s ever been in this location. The atmosphere was amazing. The bartenders Scotty, MJ, and Jelissa were absolutely phenomenal and charming. And the food was out of this world, I will be coming back often.

hate the banks area, LOVE inbetween. IBT isn’t technically the banks, but it is out of my comfort zone. MJ and jelissa are a spirited, enthusiastic dream team. the chips are amazing, ranch is delicious, and i really appreciate how large the space is. i stopped counting how many TV there are. great game day choice, with consistent service even on slower days. don’t miss the pickle chips either!

In Between Lounge is an out of the way place on Sycamore Street. The restaurant is large and spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The food has been excellent each time I have visited. From lemon pepper dry rub wings to sandwiches. Scottie and MJ are excellent bartenders and very friendly and entertaining. Prices are reasonable, lower end, for food and drinks. Worth checking out and trying for lunch or dinner.

My bf and I stopped in before the Reds game for a quick bite. We both got the burger which was delicious, but service was absolutely awful. I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to due to how insanely bad it was. We sat at the bar and had to track down a server anytime we wanted something, despite a bartender being on. The original girl who waited on us disappeared for a straight hour and the other server working never checked in with us. We literally could have leaned over and poured our own beer and no one would have noticed. We had to request to have our food checked on because it had been 40 minutes and upon checking, it magically appeared - clearly it had been sitting in the window for 20 minutes. Our original server finally comes back, doesn’t check in with us, and proceeds to join the other server for a smoke outside. Meanwhile we’re sitting there in need of beers and our check. I’ve never dined and ditched, but it definitely crossed our minds. We’d made it clear we were going to the game, hoping to be in and out, but regardless, no patron should have to experience the complete lack of service we had to endure.
