Friendly service, great reuben, and killer potato pancakes... Did I mention the pickles?
Me and my mom come here a lot for the Reuben’s and potato pancakes which we love! Our server that we just had was lovely as well! However me and my mom just came to dine in, and as we came in to sit down, one of the workers started to stare at us and as my mom went to ask our server how they were, I heard another worker behind the counter in the kitchen seem to copy what my mom said and say “Hi how are you” in a very high-pitched mocking tone. I would look over at times and could hear and see them laughing towards/at my mom.
As a customer, it created a very odd environment for us. It wasn’t the type of respect or behavior that anyone should accept in a restaurant environment.

I called in a order on my lunch break and they messed up my order and didn't compensate me for there mess. I won't be back until they get a competent person answering the phone.

I returned to Cincy after 10 yrs & had to have Izzy’s! I did takeout and online ordering was pretty easy with easy selections of type of breads, condiments, sides etc. The pastrami I had on Brioche bun was excellent and worth the price. The seasonal soup/currently split pea was way too salty—I was so disappointed as that was my main reason for going back to Izzy’s.it was not close to what I had remembered from the past. Salt is bad for everyone—let us add our own if we need it. My pickup order was ready on time and staff was friendly when I picked it up.

Server Anne rushed around and kept making me feel like I needed to eat super fast. Also didn’t follow directions/ order right and then before I even had half my sandwich done I got the bill. There was a total of 5 people eating so it’s not like it was even busy.
If you're looking for a delicious Reuben Izzy's is fantastic. The Potato pancakes are incredible too. My server Ann was excellent. Izzy's is lucky to have Ann as an employee.
