Very few places in downtown Cincinnati offer her delicious authentic deli food, with the personality, service and price to back it up. Where American culture is being erased, you can still find it here at the corner of elm Street.

When a deli has two whole pages dedicated to different iterations of the world best rueben, you know you’re in for a treat. I had the turkey rueben, which was great. The rueben comes with a potato pancake, or switch it to another side if you prefer (definitely just get the potato pancake). As stated on their website, some of the equipment and seating may have changed throughout the years, but they are still serving the original recipe from 1901.

Definitely not the Izzy's I remember, prices higher, portions smaller, and definitely not as tasty as when the original Izzy's was booming, , I guess we will never see the original again 😞, large fresh bread, sandwiches, with sauerkraut , yummy, large potatoes cakes, gone forever 😞

The chicken noodle soup was excellent! The sandwhich with the pretzel bun was average. The lady brought over my napkin and silverware wrap and her hands were covered in sauce, hence so was my napkin. Made me wonder about the hygiene here. Overall, so so, with excellent soup.

Place was quaint, food was amazing. Staff was super friendly. Parking was a bit of a pain. I would make the drive from Indiana with my girl for a meal here.

BEST Rueben I have ever had. Pickles 10/10. Stop in and share a Rueben with a buddy, you will not be disappointed. Tracey our server was above and beyond and I hope she runs the place! She made us feel so welcome!

I was pretty upset with the cost of my Ruben , the potato pancake, even the pickles. The Sandwiches are made for kids, a little piece of bread, i guess the smallest loaf that they could find, the sandwich is little, The potato pancake was not good. I went inside of the restaurant to order. I was hungry, and once I got to where I was going, I opened up my package and the little sandwich pissed me off . Not worth the price. Nope! Maybe $5.00 for the sandwich, and $1.00 for the pancake.
