I remember when the corned beef was piled high and was very tastey. My sandwich today was about 3/4 of an inch, fatty, and bland. The potato cake was good. The sandwich, potato, and a diet pepsi was $17.00. Wow, $17.00. Seventeen. Dollars.

Called and lady didn't say izzy's and was rude via phone! The lady that looks like granny from Beverly Hillbillies show was super rude! There was only 5 customers sitting during lunch time! In over 20 years coming to Izzy's never been treated so unprofessional and rude! That lady is not good for company! I will never come back!

if you're looking for a great jewish deli style sandwich, look no further. this place delivered the goods. without question, start with izzy's famous reuben: the bread was as fresh as it gets, the corner beef was sliced thin and generously and the potato pancake was crispy and delicious.

Awesome people. Friendly. Accommodating. Nice smiling and quick. Food not up to what it used to be back in the 80’s but still good and worth checking out.

The restaurant is clean and cozy, and the service was prompt and very friendly. I read a lot of reviews before I decided to try Izzy's, and I'm honestly confused by the bad ones. Mostly people complain the "sandwiches aren't stuffed like a NYC deli sandwich." I had a reuben in NYC a couple of months ago. Yep, it was definitely "stuffed", and it cost me $28!!!!! I also read the potato pancakes are "greasy". Well, as I do at home, I pressed mine between a few napkins, and viola!! - not greasy!!
I ordered a grilled, pastrami "Reubenator". It was plenty stuffed with tender meat, tasty sauerkraut and a nice sauce, on crispy bread. It was a big handful of awesome sandwich! The potato pancake was crisp and delicious. With an iced tea, my meal was only $18. I guarantee that it something you will not find in NYC!
EXCELLENT meal, served by very nice, polite and friendly people, in a clean and cozy restaurant. I'll be back. A lot.

I haven’t had this since I was a cop in Cincinnati back in the 80s while I’m back in town because I’ve missed it so much. It’s the first place I have to hit. I have a dream to the day about that potato cake. My God was amazing and Pastrami I can’t even go there. I have pastrami and every Jewish deli, I can find in America and nothing touches it. It’s a must have when you come here!

Delicious reuben, served with a fantastic potato pancake (waffle cut, crispy on the outside, tender inside) and a side of pickles. Tasty soft rye bread for the sandwich. Great flavor to the meat. Sauce and cheese both added something. Good size portion as well. Friendly service, didn't take very long to be served my food. I'd definitely return.

Cozy location and quick service, took less than 5 minutes to get my food. I got the famous reuben which came with a potato pancake and pickles. Was one of the best sandiwiches i ever had and everything was warm and fresh. The pickles were a little mild but the pancakes were nice and crunchy. A must try in Cincinnati!

Left immediately after ordering. Waitress rushed us to order as soon as we sat down. Ordered a cup of soup and she practically threw it at us and some spilled on my wife's leg and burned her. Canceled our order. Never coming back again.
