We didn't have food, just drank our hearts out. The bartender was so nice and welcomed us back again. We had no idea what we were getting into, but it turned out to be a nice experience.
How can I make you understand in depth how great this place was!. I didn't even mean to stop in this place! I was headed to get food for myself. I saw this little joint with a back porch, camping type pavilion attached to a little oblong brick building that just looked like it wasn't for me.This place...It doesn't scream or pop out at you. It looks like it would be in one of my friends yard behind his house on the side of his garage.As I walked by....and past it,...
Formerly Harolds Bar owned by my grandmother and aunt Nora until they sold it to jd about 1983. George Hildebrandt, ole blue eyes, mike, wrong way wilson, big boy, ailieo, barb, lisa, patty, helen, teri, kim, allen, kip, tim, steve and all the others are long gone and we miss them. But theres a new younger crowd. bowling alley is gone . bathrooms havent changed in 40+ years and still need help. But still a nice place off the beaten path. A few movie scenes were filmed here .
