I've been coming here for lunch for years. Used to be in love, but as time goes on my dish has more and more rice, with less and less gumbo. Not sure if they are trying to offset higher cost without raising prices or what, but I can say no one wants a big bowl of plain rice. Looking for new options

I’m say, I don’t do spicy foods at all, but this HONEY SRIRACHA CHICKEN is 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
I highly recommend this place. Will definitely be going back. Thank you Amy for the recommendations and humbling hospitality!

Honestly, the gumbo is not good at all couldn't even finish it 0/5. The jambalaya was not bad 2.5/5 needs more meat. The Red & Beans were ok 3/5. If you eat the Red Beans with the cornbread it is better 4/5. The cornbread was the best part! The Bourbon Street Chicken was honestly either bad or something It almost turned my stomach... -3/5. The peach cobbler was 0/5 my wife and I each took a bite and then threw it away.
If you like it I get it, likely to fix your pallet but if you are from the south/Louisiana area and you are looking for Cajun food... this ain't it keep looking, or get someone to send you care packages from home.

Really good casual place. My favorite so far is the etouffe.

The hours alone turn me away, I mean really? Not open weekends and only 11-5 during week, I'll find somewhere open.
Everything on the menu has been great. Really like the Jean Lafitte and Drunken Chicken. Staff is amazing and location has plenty of seating. They will even let you write on the walls. Always go for the Bang seasoning!

The place looked like a typical Cajun restaurant, service was friendly. The food was horrible. No flavor? no traditional POBoys like advertised. Out of the three dishes we tried all were cool temperature and rice wasn’t cooked completely. The shrimp in the etouffee wasn’t cooked soooo Gross. Also the dishes should have had some thickness to them like a gravy but they were runny and just overall tasteless. I do not recommend going there.
