The lady cutting the bread is crazy rude. Ordered a sandwich and decided to get a larger one and she gave me a hard time. I changed my mind which will cost me more anyways. No need to be rude to customers. I certainly won’t go back.

The old blonde lady that takes your bread, meat, and cheese order is extremely rude. If you don't order the sandwich the way she wants you to order it you will be snipped at, if you double check something about your sandwich you will get snipped at. She clearly makes the staff and customers feel uncomfortable with her rudeness to innocent people who just want a sandwich. Can't even imagine being that miserable of a person. Very sad. Rest of staff is great, sandwiches always slap.
Ordered for a gluten allergy and they did great at sanitizing the workspace and making the food safely. Best Jersey Mike's experience I've ever had by far

Stopped to get a sub for my father-in-law. Lady running the place was extremely rude. Didn’t greet me. Said we couldn’t get a free drink when didn’t even ask. Put a cookie on top of chips. She said normally people put the chips on the center of the counter. Felt unwelcome. Not going back!

I ordered a #17 with no peppers, saw the guy start to make it and put peppers on it. I asked if that was mine, it was, so I reminded them that I didn’t want peppers. Then he just started to pick through it to try to get the peppers out. My husband asked if we could just get it fresh, the kid (Preston, also I assume not a child because he’s working here and seemed to be in charge (or thought he was in charge)) got an attitude. I told him it’s just because he was picking through it in front of customers and he got defensive and said it was an honest mistake. I get it, I’m not upset about the pepper incident at all. I don’t mind that the kid he was helping was clearly new and messed up - everyone messes up in life. I didn’t get an attitude with Preston at all, he immediately got one. There were two other staff members there that were fantastic, just one that possibly needs an ego check (said possibly ironically with my ego leaving this review?).

If I would have wrote this review a year ago, it would have been all 5 stars. Loved coming to Jersey Mikes in Eastgate. Everything was clean, always saw someone cleaning, real teamwork. Things have changed over the past 6 months. Some of the staff are OGs and are still great, but SOME of the newer crew are generally rude, do not tend to listen when a request is made, or take an attitude when you ask for a extra vegetable. I will be taking my business to FireHouse subs across the way.
