Johnny Chan 2 - Harper's Point

My crab Rangoon was burnt and the oil they used was OLD. My chicken fried rice tastes like fish. This was my first and last time coming there.

We've gone here for years but tonight the service was not up to par. While the food was delicious as usual, we waited a good 25 minutes between egg rolls and main entrees. And my meal came out 3 minutes after my wife's. A couple who came in 15-20 minutes after us were served their meal at about the same time. Finally, the server while pleasant never checked with us once after she brought our meals.

Not all Chinese restaurants are the same. And each one has its specialities. This one does a very good job in what they specialize, which is Guangdong/Shanghai style dish. What that means is that their speciality is not Sichuanese. So if you go there, you should order Guangdong/Shanghai food not Sichuanese. They do a phenomenal job with that dish.

You should get:
- Shanghai Style Eggplants
- Moo Goo Gai
- Sizzling Seafood Combination
(Any seafood menu was good from my experience)

These are not the best:
- Mapa Tofu or Double Cooked Pork (they are Sichuanese dish)

I have food allergies. SO so many food allergies. The people at Johnny Chan 2 were extremely careful and even made great recommendations of dishes I could eat! I dined safely and comfortably here with family, and honestly that's not an everyday occurrence... but it tasted so good I wish it could be everyday here!

Highly recommend if you have food allergies or sensitivities.

This is the best Asian food we've found is in Cincinnati. Decent flavor, good ambiance, etc. would recommend definitely.

Consistently excellent food. Every dish we’ve tried is delicious. We drive 20 minutes to eat here instead of the many other Chinese restaurants nearer to us.

Everything about this place it fantastic. I found my new favorite Chinese restaurant! We started with the Bo Bo platter for two, I had Mongolian beef with side of pork fried rice, hubby ordered Chicken Szechun style , delightful. Prices are great and large portions. Can't wait to go back .

Best sit down Chinese in Cincinnati, hands down.

Egg roll was so crispy and delicious… best I’ve ever had!! I had Mongolian pork, and it was so good!! My first time at this restaurant. I’ll definitely be returning! Prices are average and affordable.

Lady who waited on us was excellent! She was the only waitress. Everyone’s dish was cooked perfectly and very tasty! We will be back .

We know the owner and we love this place. Always drive the 45min just to get the pan fried noodles. Feels more like family when we come in. Amazing atmosphere and food. Cant go wrong with anything you get. Wish they were closer to home.
