I've never been to the actual location, but the stuff they sell at jungle jims is rarely what it's labeled as. Every single time I buy one with filling, it doesn't have the filling in it. I'm curious if jungle jims gets the rejects or if they actually serve this stuff in store too.
Edit: I have got the custard, purple yam, and coconut. There was no filling whatsoever in the coconut or custard. Purple yam had less than a fingertips worth. I know this because I cut them in half since I can't finish a whole one. I've been getting these buns from jungle jims for years and the quality started declining last year. If that's what you consider not imperfect then I'll get imperfect from somewhere else who's not condescending.

Boba tea in various flavors for $5 - taro, lavender.... Cheaper than advertised! We also got some nice little cookies and sweet or savory buns. The cakes looked wonderful and the bakery smelled delicious! They had tiramisu and several other cake options.

I asked for a fairly last minute gender reveal cake and was told they only needed one days notice. That was my first pleasant surprise. But then when I picked it up I was blown away at how beautiful it was! Especially for the price! I could not be happier with this bakery! The cake was light and delicious, not too sweet. The whipped cream icing was perfect! I highly recommend Kiss Cakes!

Fantastic cake, please keep the quality. For people who look for new taste and healthier alternative. Mango cake is fantastic. The shop is hard to find. You should go to the corner of the plaza. I hope they expand their business.
