I really do try with Kroger but it’s as if they make excuses to push me away. I was literally in the store to buy a couple of things including a grill lighter and they wouldn’t let me buy it because I didn’t have my PHYSICAL ID with me. I’m in my 40s with plenty of gray hair.
I spoke to the manager who kept repeating “it’s a store policy” over and over.
It doesn’t seem like it matters which store you go to, you have to deal with some kind of BS.
I get it, the store employees don’t get paid enough to care, but maybe stop with ridiculously dumb “store policies” and allow your employees to use some common sense in these situations.
The sad part is, I had my DL in the car, but I refused to go back in & buy the lighter out of principal. I won’t be going in here or any other Kroger to buy anything for another while.
As a truck driver I will never deliver here again I was discriminated against because I am a female the guy at the back dock Steve was very disrespectful very unprofessional
I ordered flowers & some goodies for delivery to my mom at Bethesda North Hospital. Stefka M went out of her way to get what I wanted & even wished my mom well. Employee of the year in my eyes! Thank you Kroger for amazing customer service.
They have what I need for quick and out trips.
Clean, spacious, well stocked, nice employees, up to par with modern tech. I like the kiosks and lockers in the deli and the electronic carts! They have a great selection of premade deli and bakery items. Huge produce department. I think it's my favorite Kroger and I've been to hundreds as a professional shopper.
Unfortunately another bad experience at Kroger. First time shopping here everything went fine. Employees were very nice. I was shopping or two simple items. Went check out and immediately had the person come over and try to make an excuse to watch me check out. If yall are that worried about people stealing then just close the check out and open the regular lines. I assumed that she would know that people with money can look like anyone. I guess she assumed because I’m a young brown man that I just must be a thief. So prejudice that she rather leave 6 self check outs unattended to watch someone who is literally not stealing a check out 2 items. Ridiculous
This location bathroom is so clean.
The store as a whole is decent but the deli department has some of the rudest employees! There are 2 women in particular, an older African American woman and a middle aged tall white woman with glasses that have the worst attitudes. First it takes them forever to come to the counter when they clearly see you standing there and then when they do decide to come over to take your order they have an attitude like you are bothering them! My thing is this, if you don't want to do your job then stay home or find a job that you don't have to deal with the public. They are both just miserable!

Very friendly and helpful customer service desk worker on the morning of 4/11. Much better than the Blue Ash Kroger.

after waiting for a while i was told my order would not be ready until tomorrow..attempted to takk to mananger he/ she would not come to the phone...unacceptable
Yet again, I arrive during my pickup window and my order isn’t ready. In fact this time I was told “my order hadn’t even been picked yet”. I understand things happen, but there was absolutely no apologies given for not notifying me before I arrived or the fact that it wasn’t ready. Very disappointing that loyal Kroger customers are treated with such little consideration.
Terribly managed location. Please do yourself a favor and start giving Meijer more business. I'm forced to continue to get a few select items from Kroger that Meijer doesn't carry , but other than that, Meijer will now be supplying the bulk of my groceries. Kroger in general has gone downhill but especially this Kroger location on Montgomery Road. On more than one occasion I've been notified 2 minutes prior to my pickup time that my Click List order won't be ready for another hour, etc. My husband works 5 minutes down the road and we live nearly an hour away. Tonight I wasn't even given a courtesy of a phone call beforehand. My husband showed up to pick up our order (for items needed tonight) and we were informed that the order would not be available until the following day. What? No. At this point the order just needs to be canceled. The more irritating part is that I was sent an email 2 hours prior REMINDING me to pick up my order. The manager, Lori, could only offer excuses that they weren't able to fill 50 orders today and that everyone was supposed to have been called and she guesses we were missed. There are only a select number of time slots available to even place your order; why continue to accept orders you cannot fill?? Also, why wasn't Lori following up on this catastrophe they created today? Sounds like poor management on Lori's part. She offered a $30 gift card for my trouble. Please, $30 is not enough to quiet me down. I'll make sure I let everyone I know to avoid Kroger, and this location in particular, and start giving more business to Meijer . Hopefully the manager at Meijer can manage their store a little better than Lori
Love this location. Always nice and fully stocked, at least when I go. No issues.
