Good beer, good service, friendly people. What more could you ask for?

I’ve been to LBC a couple of times before, but last night was a bit disappointing. Had plans to go bowling for a work outing around the corner at Stones Lanes. No lanes available so we shifted to go to LBC instead. We were all hungry and referenced LBC website to confirm food was available. According to the website, the kitchen was open.

We got to LBC and a sign is posted the kitchen is closed. We left and went elsewhere to get food.

Checking the website again this morning and one place said they have a kitchen with food and another place says bring your own food, kitchen is a work in progress. Very confusing.

If kitchen hours differ from brewery hours and I missed that on the website, happy to revise my review as that’s on us for not looking through the website thoroughly enough.

Bottom line, website is inconsistent and misled us.

Visited with family. Atmosphere was relaxing. Tried team fiona 8th birthday hazy ipa which was really smooth and had alot of citra flavor. Hop head was another really good hazy IPA on draft that day. Bartender was a younger guy that actually seemed very happy to be at work. He also let my wife try a few samples so she could find something she liked! I will definitely be going back when iam in town!

What a great selection of craft brews they have! There's something there for everyone who likes to immerse themselves in the world of one of a kind drinks. A great social environment with plenty of games, seating and space. The bartenders are exceptional and real know their product. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Cincinnati area!

Had their pineapple upside down - good brew

This is the best beer in Cincinnati, and that is saying something! Been coming here off and on since they opened. Nothing like Listermann’s on the night of a Xavier basketball game.

I have been to many breweries around town and the country . The old school vibe , the incredible selection and taste of the Beer is amongst the best ! I love the names too . The bartenders were very fun and knowledgeable in helping to select our beers . Huge space for games and events . It’s in a class of its own .

Used to be great but the new owners are running it into the ground.

Summary: There is no question Listermann makes very good beers, but there are plenty of questions about their kitchen. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, with very few customers taxing their kitchen, the food service and quality were sufficiently poor that one person in our group decided, even after waiting just shy of an hour for food, it was best to leave hungry.Details: Four of us went to Listermann last Sunday, around 12:30, to have lunch and a few beers. Counting us, there were ~20 customers spread over five tables and one bar stool. As soon as we arrived we followed their process and ordered food and beers at the bar, taking a number to place at our table, and took our beers with us as we sat outside to enjoy the sunny day. Our food order consisted of one appetizer (pretzel bites) and four meals (tacos, salad, sub, flatbread). After 20 minutes I went back to get another beer and ask about the delay with the pretzel bites. The bites arrived ~30 minute mark, and we were assured the meals would follow very shortly. 3 of the four meals arrived ~45 minute mark. After finishing the three meals, we stopped waiting for the last meal, paid, and left.Sadly, the quality of the food we ate was also a disappointment. It was much below the quality of their beers. It was also much below what other nearby, high-quality breweries, such as MadTree, High Grain, or Nine Giant, would serve.

Cool little place to hang out. Don't come hungry on a Saturday though, the food wait was unacceptable. The sandwich had very little meat, mostly bread on the ends. Bartenders were fantastic and handled us with courtesy but there it's no excuse for the kitchen. Pathetic is being kind. Come to drink only.

Not much to say outside of it's an enjoyable place to chill out at.

Love the vibe here! Part old school bar, part open air seating with games, part outside patio. They have food, beer, mead, and wine. The bartenders are great, and the beer is very good. Note: you can miss those place if you aren't looking for it. Across the street from Xavier and it did not disappoint. Barrel aged beers here are very good! Nice chill place to grab a pint and some food whole studying.
