Their food has gone downhill. I ordered a burger. It came with a mystery substance on the top of the bun. I asked the waitress what is was. She said she didn't know, then said it was oil. Why oil, the bun wasn't grilled or toasted. Just a cold stale bun. Awful

My family visited this LongHorn Steakhouse location off Fields Ertel in Cincinnati after my grandmother’s funeral. We had a large party (around 25 people) and had let the staff know ahead of time that it would be about 20. When we arrived, there weren’t enough seats, so my cousin gently moved a nearby table to accommodate everyone. Immediately, the hostess rushed over, raising her voice, saying “You can’t move the tables! It’s a liability issue!” and “I was told there were only 20 people and now there’s more?!”

My cousin apologized and stopped moving the table, but instead of handling the situation calmly or professionally, the staff doubled down on making our group feel like a burden. The server looked at us and visibly shook her head, then started pointing and counting us out loud. The hostess then moved the same table herself—without saying excuse me to those nearby—and added, “Well if I knew there were more than 20, I wouldn’t have sent my other server home!” For context, there was only one other table in the section.

At that point, I had enough. I told her, “Thank you for being so accommodating,” and let her know we were leaving. My partner, daughter, and I walked out. The manager followed us to the parking lot and tried to get us to come back in, but the damage was already done. We felt unwelcome, disrespected, and embarrassed — on one of the most difficult days of our lives.

We weren’t expecting perfection, but basic kindness and professionalism would’ve gone a long way. I hope the staff and management reflect on how they treat grieving families and large parties in the future.

Our salads came after we got our main courses. The meat and fries were a bit salty. Staff was very courteous.

We came up for a few days at King's Island. We came here when we first came in. When we walked in, there was no one here besides 2 tables. It took an hour to get our food. No apologizes or anything. Just kept telling us are food is coming. Took forever to get drinks and to go boxes. Even the manager on duty did not say anything when I ask why it was taking so long. She just helped bring the food out and that is it. No sorry or free appetizers or anything. It is understandable when it is busy, but 2 tables and no recognition why it was taking awhile. As well guest after us had their food before us. This is unacceptable. I gave it a 2 because the food was good, but service was horrible. I work in this industry, so I am very understanding if something happened, food was made wrong, understaffed, etc.
