The food was excellent and our server was wonderful, but the experience was marred by a very disappointing interaction with management. We were seated at 6:05 PM and were finishing coffee after dessert around 8:20 PM when the manager asked us to vacate our table because “the next party was waiting.” This was particularly frustrating since the meal had already been delayed by slow kitchen timing and the fact that our server was also tending the bar. To make matters worse, the restaurant was not even full—several tables were clearly empty. Being asked to leave while still finishing our coffee felt unnecessary, discourteous, and left us feeling rushed out the door.

Went to this place tonight first time. The hostess at the front door was not polite, tall girl short hair she Told us we couldn’t park where we parked or we would Get towed. Told us we couldn’t sit at the bar without a reservation. She was just not polite at all so , bad first impression luckily we had a reservation. We sat at the bar. We had a wonderful conversation with the food and beverage Director Alex he was very good, burger was very good. Salad was OK meatball OK. If Alex wouldn’t have been there, it would’ve been a total waste of time to go, but he was very nice and he does a very good job. It’s a little overpriced hard to park very dark. I say go once maybe. Very dark, for Columbus, it was just OK.

MAJOR FOOD ALLERGY ISSUE
Losanti has been one of my favorite restaurants since I moved to Cincinnati. I want to preface this saying I have always had a great experience with food, service, etc.
That being said, I cannot ignore what happened the last time I was there. I have a severe nut allergy, and we informed the waiter of this. He repeated back to us that he recorded the allergy, so I know he was aware and informed the kitchen.
We ordered the asparagus as a side, and when it arrived at the table, the dish had almonds on top of it. There are no almonds listed on the menu for that dish. It was placed on our table, and we had to bring it up to the waiter. The restaurant deducted the asparagus from our bill, and gave us a fresh dish.
While that was appreciated, it was a small token given the severity of the issue. We got an apology from the manager and the waiter, and the asparagus off the bill, but that was it. The meal was $350+ for 3 people. They did not offer any other compensation. I believe this to be a major issue given there was an allergy at the table. I never write reviews, but I now feel unsafe eating here and want others to be aware.

Where to start... quickly seated for our family of 5. Trent was excellent with suggestions. For drinks, we ordered Honeysuckle, Mezcal Last Word, Lillie Rose Daisy, GLS Riesling, French 75. The drinks arrived and were very appealing. For an appetizer, we ordered 2 Focaccias. SO good. The Salmon/asparagus meal was fresh and delicious. The Gnocchi was perfect and paired well with the brussels sprouts. (They made brussels sprouts tasty for those who don't prefer them). Bolognese was a giant serving, and had leftovers for the next day. The Truffle mac & cheese/truffle spaghetti were wonderfully seasoned. NOW the star of the table was the Pork Chop with an onion/pepper topping. It was the most delicious of the entire table. Don't know a word to even describe its flavor. Just order it. We were celebrating a birthday so we all dug into the affogato, butter cake, and gelato. FANTASTIC EVENING. We left feeling fat, sassy and incredibly happy. You have 5 new fans ! Thank you.

Went last minute for a bite. Had been here briefly before and as soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warmth. We sat on the bar top and there was so much community all around. We had expectational service from Nyasia. She answered all our questions. Typically never vocalize my concerns but we felt so comfortable and confined by her service & by her team, Ibrahim & Makan. We had the lobster spaghetti which was very delicious and unique. Highly recommend. Thank you all so much for a wonderful dinner!

By far one of the best dinners I’ve ever had and experienced. I say experienced because our waiter, Cory, gave the best recommendations and guided us through the entire night with the best dishes and choices. We left it up to him and it was phenomenal. Don’t leave there without getting the mashed potatoes and the butter cake. Two things I’d never order but thanks to Cody, I’ll never forget!!! I’m 3.5 hours away and I do think I’ll be driving back up just for dinner. I can not recommend highly enough. Great atmosphere, great service, and unforgettable food. I’d give higher than 5 stars if I could.

Really enjoyed our first experience at Losanti and will definitely return! The kale caesar salad was amazing, it's a must order. Definitely necessary to split this as it's a big portion. The filet was perfection. Brussel sprouts were also on point and also a large shareable portion. Definitely save room for the butter cake. It was delicious!
