“The Lackman is hands down one of my favorite bars in the city, and a huge part of that is thanks to Cindy. She’s the kind of bartender who instantly makes you feel welcome, always remembers your drink, and somehow keeps everything running smoothly even when the place is packed. Super friendly, fun to talk to, and just all-around great at what she does.

The vibe at The Lackman is always on point, cool without trying too hard, with a solid drink selection and some really creative cocktails. But honestly, even if the drinks weren’t as good as they are, I’d still keep coming back just to sit at the bar when Cindy’s working. She really makes the place special.“

“We went midday with no one in here and it was great. The prices for the drinks are much better than what I pay at home. The bartender could have been more sociable but she was preparing for the rush hour I assume. There is plenty of seating and the heat on the outdoor patio works very well.
Being able to order food from below is great also. See you next time“

“Tillie’s Lounge is one of our favorite establishments in the city! This bar manages to strike a balance that most can’t... it’s polished and well-decorated enough to avoid the “dive bar” label, yet still feels relaxed, homey, and completely unpretentious.

Drink prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere invites you to settle in and stay awhile. The bartenders are incredibly warm and kind. Special shoutout to Randy, Vince and Luna for consistently providing excellent service! The establishment is always clean, and the restroom upkeep is especially commendable, considering how tough it can be to maintain single-stall facilities in a busy bar environment.

Tillie’s hosts a variety of fun, themed events that showcase diverse and talented performers. We especially love their brunches and open stage nights—they’re always lively, inclusive, and full of great energy.

There’s a true sense of community and camaraderie among the regulars, yet newcomers are always made to feel welcome. The crowd is friendly but never overbearing, which adds to the overall charm.

Tillie’s is truly a hidden gem. As much as we’d love to keep it to ourselves, it only seems fair to share it with the rest of the city. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re certainly missing out. Stop by and support this lovely little establishment!“

“Experience would have been perfect, but service was terrible. We were visiting Cincy and the hotel told us about Härth. We sat toward the front of the bar & nobody came to take our order after being there for about 10 minutes. My husband went to the bar & tried to order. We were told that a server would be around. Another 10 minutes & we didn’t even see a server milling around. We tried to order at the bar again & bartender said he’d bring the drinks. Finally got them after another 10 minutes. Not one time did a server come by in the hour we were there. Tried to order a second round at bar & we were told the same thing. Waited for a server, who never showed, so we closed our tab of 1 drink a piece after being there for over an hour. I had a coffee drink & it was delicious. The music & the vibe were great. I so wish the service would have been better or even a bit friendlier. I will go back when we visit again. I just hope they have more people working or a new bartender.“

“Our meal was FANTASTIC. Delicious, with gorgeous presentation. We came in dirty snd hungry after cold, rainy geology field trips associated with a conference. The food was beyond our expectations, and the desserts were the best chocolate cake and best crème brûlée. ever. We’re sorry we didn’t eat here every night we were in town!“

“My friends and I come to japps all the time and always have the best time! There is so much character in the space and the bartenders are always delightful and attentive. Special shout out to one of the bartenders Ryan, every time I go there he always remembers my drink preferences and has the best recommendations when I want to try something new!
