I had a craving for a toasted club sandwich. I asked Google to provide me with a business that could make me a club sandwich. My adventure took me to Vonderhaars. No toaster.
I went to Benson's home of the three napkin club sandwich. No such thing exists. After two strikes I asked Google again. LUCY'S was the place that could provide such a thing. I ordered two. It was absolutely delicious. Thank you to whoever works the kitchen. It was truly good. And my girlfriend's craving was met. Yum yum yummy.

We stopped in for lunch. 1 other table, 1 server and the cook! Chairs and carpets had tears throughout. While looking over the menu we were rushed a few times to hurry and place our order (that’s still the same from last visit) the owner was clearly frustrated! We placed our order and didn’t wait long! All of our food was cooked in the microwave with an exception to the chicken tenders that were dropped in the grease with the fries! Portions are very small, and while mid bite the cook wiped his nose with his hand and began cooking again without washing his hands! We brought it to the owners attention and she didn’t seem too bothered! We asked for a refund and was told no bc we had already taken a few bites! I could see if the plates were cleaned but a literal bite or 3?? Crazy! Rude staff/owner, microwaved food, out dated interior, barely ever open, and a cook with no knowledge of sanitation.. CLEARLY!! Do better Lucy Lou! We will not return and yall might wanna go to the bridge house or Athenian restaurant!

I’m thinking 1970’s vibe. Great menu with lots of sandwiches to choose from. My husband got a Rueben and I got a double decker with turkey and bacon. The sandwiches were generously loaded with goodies. We shared their Amazing Fries which these waffle cut fries lived up to their name. You know what else is amazing about this place are their prices in a very good way.

My family and I stopped here for breakfast and everything was excellent. The sausage links especially were good. I would also recommend the French toast. It's a sleepy little diner in Reading but the food and service were very good.

Came here on a Sunday morning to have brunch with a bridal party of 5 before heading over to the bridal district to go wedding dress shopping with our bride. The food was great and our server was nice. The problem is the owner herself. She’s supposed to be the face of her business and she was one of the rudest people we have ever met. She was checking our party out up at the front desk (which is where you have to pay) and we all had separate checks, which she immediately voiced that she was annoyed with, saying “why couldn’t one of you just handle it”. She then asked if any of us had cash and when we replied that we didn’t, she kept repeating “cash? You don’t have cash?!”. We then asked if she’d accept card and she replied “yes, but cash is faster”. To be clear, the place was not busy. When we got there, there was no wait. We sat at a table right by the door and anyone who walked in was told they could go ahead and sit wherever they want. So we were very confused why she was rushing us and giving us a rough time with the separate checks and not having cash. She then asked if we were a bridal party going over to the bridal district. We said yes and she responded with “of course you are” in a very condescending tone. I was one of the last of our party to check out. I always pull out my phone and use the calculator app to figure out 20% tip. When I did this, she immediately said while laughing, “oh honey, are you serious? Did you not go to school?!”. We were all shocked and immediately called her out saying how rude she was being. We asked if she was the owner, which she replied she was. We then repeated how rude she was with us, and left. We received no apology. The family behind us checking out even came up to us outside and agreed how rude she was and that they won’t be back either.
Food was palatable. Waitress got order wrong and no one would fix it. Only 1 waitress, shouldn't be open and they would only serve breakfast.
