I ordered a decaf latte and it was completely flavorless. Almost as if it was made with hot water instead of decaf. Disappointing enough that I didn't finish it. Also, at 9am on a Saturday, they need to schedule more staff than 1 cashier and 1 barista.

Coffee drinks are top notch. Food is trash. As reported by others the egg sandwich is a disaster.

Luminary is my new favorite coffee shop!! It has a fantastic ambiance inside with cute decor, comfy seating and some local crafts/merch for sale as well. There are plenty of quiet areas and outlets for charging your computer if you want to sit and get some work done. The coffee drinks and flavors are amazing, as well as the baked goods! There are a few menu items in addition like a quiche, granola bowl, soups and sandwiches. The staff are always kind and efficient. Highly recommend Luminary for your coffee!!

Parking: Huge, free parking lot directly behind!

Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly with a designated kids are containing toys, games, books, coloring, etc

Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp, doors and restrooms are ADA

$16 for an egg sandwich and cup of coffee. Had to wait about 15 minutes which isn’t the fastest for morning service so if you’re in a rush don’t bother. Staff was nice, service slow. Let’s talk about the dried up, deflated egg thrown on a toasted Kroger muffin with a thin slice of cheese and some sauce. How on Earth is this $8?! I took two bites and wanted to vom- no taste just a rubbery feeling in your mouth. Super mad I had it to go because I would have returned it. Threw it away- bye $8- McDs does a better job and for less… wouldn’t recommend and won’t go back. The place is also very ‘empty’ or at least feels a little quiet and empty. The $7 coffee wasn’t worth it either. I can find the same or better for less at any coffee joint. Disappointing and I miss the old College Hill Coffee Shop where $16 could have fed 2 people for breakfast.

For anyone who want to work here don’t!!!! The manger is very racist the breakfast sandwiches there please don’t eat the eggs have mold after 2 days of making! sandwiches are frozen weeks in advance so nothing there is fresh only the fruit and spinach and that’s taking a risk. They have gone thru the process of hiring 55 employees in 12 month since opening! I don’t recommend eating nothing there health inspection found several violations dude to unsanitary conditions everything is frozen and not fresh to date. They hired individual to fired them which is ironic. They won’t take responsibility for their wrongdoings because business needs to have someone to blame for their mishaps and wrong coming hence the 55 employees in 12 months!!! I do not recommend this place for the sake of your health. Several health violation for something out of my reach is beyond me.

This is not a place that you want to eat!! Breakfast sandwiches are old and eggs has mold growing from being made 2/3 weeks prior. If you want fresh this is not the place nothing here is fresh nothing!!! Everything is premade and frozen fruits are barely fresh and the manger is only worried and concern about reviews rather than the quality of the food or service please if you want good food this is not the place to eat. For the price of the food it’s better to make yourself knowing you’re getting good fresh quality food. MOLD is very serious as a food borne illness! Please check your food before consuming.

This year I've been making luminary a regular spot for my work day. Wide open space so it never gets too loud. The staff is always super friendly especially if you sit at the bar.

The only gripe is that it closes at 3, but there's a spot or two to go if you want to close out your work day not too far.

Ended up getting a refund for my food and throwing my coffee in the trash. The young lady at the front counter was very nice, however her service didn't make up for how bad everything else was. Please do better!!!!

Stopped in this cute coffee shop for breakfast -- both muffins I tried and the egg sandwich were fantastic and the coffee is the best I've had on my trip so far! The staff were friendly, the service was fast, and the atmosphere was relaxing. Several people were working on laptops with their coffee and I totally get it because I could have stayed all day! In addition to the food and drinks, there are some household/art items and merch available, along with a take one/leave one library and many books for sale. The next time I'm in Cincy, I will definitely be stopping by again!

Kid-friendliness: There is a small play area in the front of the store that had a small library of books and cushioned flooring, possibly also toys.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp on the back of the restaurant and single stall bathrooms inside.

Bright & cozy space with excellent coffee! I enjoyed a savory scone & americano. Loved looking at the local art on the wall. Family-friendly spot, too, with a great little play area!

We came here for our weekly Saturday morning date. Located just north of College Hill.

We got a drip coffee, a seasonal harvest latte, and the French toast casserole, but they came back and said they were out of the casserole. I was really looking forward to the casserole after seeing the pictures in the reviews. Kinda off-putting to not have something on the menu close to opening time.

The latte and drip coffee were very good! The atmosphere was open with plenty of seating however it doesn’t have a cozy/comfy feeling. All the seats were hard. The service was very friendly and nice and accommodating. I thought it was a nice touch to see a baby changing crib in the bathroom. They definitely put thought in care in this place.

Affordability is average for craft coffee cafes in Cincy. For 2 drinks it’s around $10. With pastries you’re looking at $20-25.

Overall this is a cool coffee shop! Definitely would come back for the coffee and to try the food.

I would give this 5 stars if the cafe either had more cozy seating or if the French toast casserole was available.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp in the back.
